If Mokujin ends up in Tekken 8, he's either gonna be the last DLC made character-wise, possibly as Free DLC. Sure, Mokujin does stuff different from the characters he copies. But I can see Harada trying to say "here's a free Mimic character with no changes to the moveset whatsoever".

the older tekken games had so much personality damn sucks that some of that gets removed 13:50 and 15:14 are my favorites, i wonder who does 13:50's because being able to counter the legendary death fist outright?? impossible...

I love Mokujin, Mokujin forever ❤ Mokujin really was always my favourite though, great design, cool lore, and the best option for gameplay. I always got really bored if I played one character too long, so playing story or arcade mode with Mokujin meant every fight was special and challenging in its own way.

Also since Soul Calibur is basically dead id love to see some Soul Calibur Characters in Tekken besides Yoshi. I used to play SC so much that my main basically became Charade so i understand how hard it is to learn a Mimic Character. But Tekken has like twice as many characters as Soul Calibur each with 100+ moves i dont think it gets any harder than Mokujin.

Ive never even played Mokujin but for some reason i find this extremely fascinating. I hope they bring him (or ANY mimic character for that matter) into Tekken 8. If i got matched up with a God of Destruction Mokujin wood player id probably just accept my fate that im gonna lose.

Thank you so much for this! As someone who played some tag2 at a friend's house im my early teens, but never got it、and started with tkn7, i didn't know how this worked.

I don't know if this counts as a fun fact or just simple logic but in TTT2, Mokujin will not copy any of the free DLC characters if they're not unlocked. The characters are however, essentially complete and on disc, but are lacking a miniscule download before they're considered playable. I played a generous amount of TTT2 with no internet back in the day, so you'll have to trust me but I do not tell a lie.
