Here is a clip on how to clench a nail. It's important in building or repairing vintage furniture. When we were little we had dairy cattle and spend a lot of time in the barn. Grandpa took us to a door and showed us how door nails were clenched. It's simplicity but very effective. You probably know about it but your viewers may not. Beautiful work! Need to get a lazer cleaner with pulse mode, will clean all that wood and metal and strip the paint, rust, varnish off without damaging the wood or metal. The technique is used even on very old and precious renovations. Would save you so much time andd money on the strip down phase.

Very good refurbishing. I'm getting to like the water stain. I have never used it. Wood working is so claming. I will get to the rest soon. I'm rebuilding my lawnmower engine. 🎉❤🎉

I've used the salt before. I just dissolved it first, then poured it. I think you would like that method better. The chest came out great, and the chairs look way better by using stain. I would have chosen that as well. Restoration of the days gone by can be addictive. Im 80 and still do odds and ends. If my pain would give me a break, I would definitely do larger projects. It would help reduce the tension from all the political crap going on. I wish you luck on your endeavers and love for what was once beautiful.
