This is a very troubling interview because the points made are not factually wrong and the interviewer is simply agreeing with no fact-checking whatsover. It's a shame he doesn't have the communication skills and discernment to be balanced in his views. Obviously in all organisations there are problems and mixed abilities of people to interpret the way to achieve their goals. Of course the world is not going to come to an end. Of course we should be careful at understanding what motives are behind arguments such as meat, plastics, GMO etc. 1. There are enough scientific papers and pre-AI videos/images evidencing ocean garbage patch. 2. Sustainable development now uses nested models whereby humanity sits equally to ecology. 3. More than 90% of global climate scientists paid by a very varied number of sources/funding are in agreement that this is happening. He is also pointing out that scientists are not moral in their choices - like him? Sadly people like my boyfriend are drawn into these type of conversations and now I am teaching him to be more balanced. Look out of your window people.
