the look that this lens give is very similar to the one in a horror movie. that green tint.

Still a good camera in 2024. I have one and it does everything I ned it to do. I don't need a higher burst rate. Don't do sports and my kids are grown and gone and my old dog only moves so fast. Don't need better focus tracking for the same reasons and my photography is landscape, macro and travel. So I don't need an R5 or anything else that comes down the road. Love this camera.

Do you recommend a particular brand of follow focus teeth for a Sony lens paired with a Wooden Camera Zip Focus? Or are they interchangeable? I don't see any follow focus teeth on the Wooden website. Thanks!

i can do all the photography staff with a Canon 5D Mark II, a Canon 6D and a Sony A7Rii. Why should we asking our selves if a camera which is only couple of years old can do the job?

please use crossfades if you have to jumpcut. These audio clicks are very annoying and it's a very easy fix

Hi, The timecode stops when entering S&Q. Is there a way for it to continue free run? or jump back to where the free run should be?

One year later and the FX3 has 180 shutter angle now 😄

I have the exact opposite problem. Im 6 3 and I often am too tall for the shot I want. I cant shoulder most of the time because it looks like I'm looking down on the talent. The cinesaddle normally helps me get more on their level. Great BTS brother!

Also if you want a cheaper alternative to getting filter rings/step ups off. Gaffer tape has saved my ass a ton! Just wrap a small piece around the filter and twist. No clue why it works but hey.

Just adding diff straight onto the light like that isn't softening it , it's just knocking down the output. Book light is not intrinsically softer than the source size of the final diff frame size , as just putting a light directly through it , but it helps spread the light evenly into the frame , if you don't have the room to back off a direct light ,main reason they were "invented". Softness of a light to subject, is only governed by the size of the source relative to the subject , nothing else , its science captain ! . Book lights take up space / more stands , big domes take up a huge amount of space , big LED mat panels with a honey comb grid is the way to go for this type of work , get it in just out of frame. A smaller light closer to the subject will be softer than a much larger one backed off, or at least the same. I see a lot of videos of one person interviews BTS, with huge 8x8 diffs / two lights though them and 10 C stands with flags and cables all over the place, like 15 feet away from the subject , on a waist up shot. A 4x3 Mat light with a grid would do the exact same with one stand and a couple of V mounts.
