You can use 2 vacuum pumps at the same time and have success with it.
Переглядів 1 тис.Місяць тому
When using 2 vacuum pumps of different size it can be a challenge to have one pump not overpower another and suck the oil out of the lesser pump. Another way is to pipe the pumps in parallel. They share a common header. Im actually thinking about getting a pipe of 1.5"-2" and adding in taps to allow for a parallel configuration. I would add hose taps on the sides and the end would be able to co...

Had a liquid line solenoid valve that was acting like a normally open....when it was a normally closed. Also used my subcooler to recover all the refrigerant.

What the hell am I looking at?? _"Labs...All labs in...this facility..."_ Ahh yes, Racoon city plumbing and heating service call, should have guessed. But in all seriousness, that's a beauty of an engineering space. You know it's gold plated when there's even fire extinguisers buried throughout up there. "No expenses spared"
This is what’s in the ceiling of the backrooms
Need to color code it
i have a copper fin 2 solid red alarm no water flow. pressure reading 0. any idea what it can be?
@@EmmanuelShahid7 i would start by confirming you have water and that the pump works. You can jump out the pump contacts.....after you confirm there is water in the loop. I don't always trust analog gauges in a hydronic system.
@jasonjohnsonHVAC thanx bro I will take a look at it. I work at the VA BOILER and working 2 month. they were using the regulater valve with the little handle to maintain at 30 to 35 psi. I check last night was running fine but was around 45 psi which was a concern. I came in tonight and it was down. water circular pump was running but no pressure at all. I tried resetting a few time on the copper fin side and turning it on and off and no luck. I will try your method as you mentioned.

Almost some ASMR type content, which is very nice!😂 I have no clue what any of the ducts or equipment does, but it would be interesting to know. Maybe a future video can explain some more of what each of those pieces of equipment does in the sector? Nice video anyway👏👍
@icicle_man4971 this ductwork is for labs. The equipment keeps the labs at precise temps, humidity and pressure for what is needed

3:00 "madness" Ie: _"I've encountered something much bigger than me 😨"._ Yep! Welcome! There's a lot of us here, in this world.
Those humidifiers: I guess from the name they’re steam injection; is the steam generated in the unit, or is there a remote steam generator?
@chriswalford4161 it is injected from the humidifier itself. What i like about this one is there is no canister to replace. It has a stainless steel box where the heaters are. It's a fairly simple unit mechanically.
Speaking of stepping… Yeah tripping over one of those pendant heads for the fire suppression would be a bad day.

I wonder if some kind of tuned-mass damper attached near the fitting could solve the problem. Just attaching the proper length of thin wire rope with a hose clamp near the fitting could do the trick. You could probably tell when the vibrations were damped by touch.
@@projectartichoke there is a kit for it, which has been installed
That's just unreal! I never thought about such spaces existing. Wow, the man hours designing and installing all of that must be astronomical.
@@projectartichoke i was told it took 8 months for just the ductwork alone. They have to have the airflow balanced and certified every year. It's pretty impressive
And an army of inspectors.
I feel sorry for the guy who has to do the air balancing
@bigcatauna lol...it has to be checked and certified every year.
Its actually relatively easy when it comes to these places because everything is close to spec and acessible. I say relative because the hardest part about air balancing these is having to go into clean room environment.

@@ziggymartinez2273 it was done nicely. I was told all that ductwork alone took over 8 months to do.
That duct work is just insane, but also interesting seeing the mix of black iron, copper and stainless piping up there. And the miles of EMT as well. Wondering if they have like road signs up there though, seems like getting lost in there would be pretty easy.
@@sparkplug1018 hahahaha it is easy to get lost if you are looking for something specific. Bioscience building so many different types of piping for various different types of uses
