Great video! I'm just having a small issue and its no fault of your video but my pictures keep ending up upside down from how I want them so if you were to hang it the picture would currently be upside down. Tried their box to flip it but it didn't do anything. 😭

Hello, I must be doing something when i set the "Picture Angular Height (degrees)" to 90, the Picture Angular width sets to 174.98 not 360 as you stated and I cant change it. any help is greatly appreciated thx you!

Great video. It has inspired me to make a whole series, with all the grand children ( all 8 😉), but i can not get around the problem, that my slicer keeps on wanting me, to make supports. I am running a Flashforge 5M Pro, and Orca slicer ver 2.2. Is there any way around that - supports inside the sphere is a pain to get out of a 15 mm hole. Ore just ignore the warning from the slicer, and then print without ? Cheers from denmark

What is the best orientation for printing these -- standing upright with a brim/raft, or flat (in the case of the square frame)? I'm using Bambu Labs and X1C if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!

Hey! I was able to get one print off perfect but now everytime I try to use lithophane maker and "create STL" I download a zip file with only a txt file in it. I've tried 3 different browsers and using both PNG and JPEG files for the image. Anyone have any advice?

Yep, I had my stock extruder crack right away... not the best intro into 3D printing for a noob, but I ended up replacing it with a Sherpa Mini direct drive extruder and have had bliss since then.

I've been working on a similar project on my end, but using a resin printer. And using blender. massive learning experience but crazy cool. Still working on the dimensions, nice to see other new projects on this. Looking for other resin settings though :) thumbs up for your video on the project!!!!

Another thing to watch out for in the future is wear on the gear that connects to the stepper motor right there. It is made of brass and the teeth will wear out after some time.
