I doing a prompt based project pan and I choose the Ireland palette for the prompt "packaging that inspires you" because of the sleeve!

The palette I bought because of packaging, is the Resurgence one from Unearthly Cosmetics in collaboration with Heather Austin. I just love, love, love, the packaging. Another one I've got on my list, just for the packaging, is the Dragon Eye palette, from What's Up Beauty. 😂

Would you say the Serenity and Winter Wonderland are too saturated to fill in the gap left by Aurora Lights? I'm thinking that between them you have the colours covered 😊

It’s funny how so many of these I own and are either favorites or I feel completely opposite about. I do agree on the packaging of the Baroque and Ornate- totally sold me. Baroque was one of the ones that taught me the same lesson from Colourpop- some colors are just not for me despite really liking the UA-camr who convinced me to purchase it. I bought that one and Blush Crush on Kelly Gooch’s recommendation. And while I really like Kelly and respect her opinions and reviews, I learned that her aesthetic isn’t mine. Funny because I can rely on her as somewhat of a complexion “twin” for foundation shades but things she likes in eyeshadow don’t necessarily work for me. Better to learn that from CP than a more expensive brand. At this point I’m keeping the packaging and moving the magnetic pans of shades I do like into packaging I love. I don’t mind the packaging of the Whatever and that one was a sleeper hit for me. The one that others loved with packaging I didn’t like was All That - which I definitely regret purchasing and pulled apart to declutter. Somethings that should work on paper, just don’t in reality and I got caught up with FOMO. Also Solmane never interested me (can’t really say why when I have plenty of other OE) but Cozy Cabin does; I just can’t justify the price. I never saw the similarities until you pointed it out so that’s interesting. It could be the arrangement of the shadows as I don’t mind the Blender Bunny column organization as I don’t feel it holds me back from experimenting with other combinations. But I also don’t mind when some palettes scramble colors to provide inspiration I wouldn’t have thought of on my own so I kind of see both sides. Untamed I’m on the fence about. I’ll pull it out in the fall and I love certain shades but they don’t all go together and I feel once you move beyond 2 or 3 it muddies up but I do like Sigma in general so I keep in around.

Good morning! After my initial order from Ace Beaute during their rebranding sale last week, I decided I wanted the Aura palette as well, but when I went back, it wasn’t on sale anymore. And the strange thing is a lot of their palettes came off sale during Memorial weekend, so I just kept an eye on it. Today a lot of their palettes that weren’t on sale for Memorial weekend are now back on sale. So instead of paying $34 I got Aura for 15!! Unfortunately they’re not offering f free shipping anymore unless you spend $75

It seems like McLean was reminiscing about what he considered real Rock & Roll, and disparaging the "modern" stuff. The "modern" stuff that we consider classic now! I am loving this eye look recreation! I can only imagine how difficult it is to pack to move with small kids in the house. When I moved frequently, I was always frustrated by how many items had to be packed at the last minute, because we needed them every day. I finally developed a system I called "open boxes". I would put a box into an open cabinet with the box opening facing out. Then I'd put everything in the cabinet into the box and use it for days or weeks that way before the move. The morning of the move, I'd pull all these open boxes out of the cabinets and just tape them shut, and they're ready to go. Super helpful!

Very pretty look. I really like these "inspired by" videos. When I went to bed the other night the Carol Burnett show was on and I loved the colors on Mama's dress, it was blue, turquoise, pink and purple flowers on a white background.... So those were the colors I used using the lure palette. I had a lot of compliments on that look...lol I love neons but I hate using them because they are notoriously hard to blend into other shadows

This eye look is awesome! I love periwinkles, and you're rough that the line green makes it cool!. I don't own anything from Cosmic Brushes. I've heard mixed reviews.

Pull in a other palett

I'm kind of commentating while watching so i may comment a time or two. I have all of the CB palettes i love them all and they all work together. Royal rose is definitely a companion palette that I used with the pastel palette more often than not. And my favorite is a toss up between the Gothic and the Muse palettes.

We lived in a home much longer than we wanted, 23yrs, and even though we own it and it had a garage and a basement after the 3rd or 4th year, we probably should have moved into a bigger home but we made it work. 23 years later we bought our dream house. I never want to move again. I plan on dying here, lol

I have all of CB's palettes except Gothic. Muse and royal rose are the least inspiring to me, but i love serenity, Winter wonderland and delights palettes . WW is probably my favorite

Yeeeeesssss, ADORE this look!!! I had no interest in Royal Rose because it's just too much Barbie pink for me to want to play with. It seems like after that one, they REALLY figured out how to make a wonderful color story. Excited to see what they do next. 😀

Also I own 2 cosmic beauty pallets, Muse and Gothic and I really like them..don't reach for them a ton but I did enjoy every time I played with them so far!

So the only shades I've dipped into in sugar & grunge are cupcake, cotton candy, ruffles, melancholy, gloom and doom and crying sparkles. These were never used together always paired with other more toned down mattes.. 😂❤

I need to pull my Garden of Juvia's out. I have so many pastel palettes that I love.

I think if there is a favorite color I’m likely to want quite a bit of it and small variations and formulas are still interesting . If I don’t adore the color scheme but still like it I might go for one (or two )cool purple/aqua palette with multichromes ? Not a total fave color story - I bought Adept Element 115. Other brands have similar BBB, Ensley Reign, Cosmic Brushes etc. but I’m not that into purples that every iteration Must be Mine! Greens on the other hand especially murky lime olive swampy ones? I Definitely have a problem. Some things once you have a good example in a good workable formula , you’re set . How many black gray white gradient palettes does a person need? I would have some leeway if there is a good bundle deal . Sometimes it’s cheaper to get a bundle and then gift the pieces you don’t love.
