Seriously, I was merely joking---seeing as how Doug Wimbish plays Spector. And...because I discovered that both he AND Aaron Mills, (Cameo) play Spector...I decided to make it my first purchase; as a beginner bassist/musician. Originally, I wanted a Fender Jazz 4-string; 'cause, that's what my hero Marcus Miller plays. But, I found a deal on EBay that I couldn't say no to. I don't recognize the bass you have. Can you tell this beginner something about it--like: "Why'd you choose it?" While I accidentally stumbled across your clip, I'm really eager to see what else you have posted. Thanks! 🫶🏽

@@busterheine3806 Quality and tone of Spector basses is excellent. Hard to go wrong there, was a fine choice. I just don't like the shapes they come in. I prefer this explorer shape. It's nice to rest my arm on the wing. For awhile Alex Webster and Rex brown especially had me contemplating Spector but unless they make an explorer shape, I'm unlikely to play one for too long. That's what I meant by my earlier comment. I dig Cameo and Doug Wimbish, although Muzz Skillings tracked bass for this song. I might post some Cameo to my page at some point actually. @@Vetustum Thanks for being so generous with your time. I see that you have a penchant for metal. Other than spelling the word, I know nothing at all about that musical genre. Like so many of the uninitiated, (of anything, really) I only recognize whatever most largely seen; and in the case of metal---it's the lead guitarist/s. But, since my musical interest has always involved the rhythmic component, I'm interested to know more about bassists who play metal. Could you suggest some names that I should get to know--as I explore this genre? Thanks!

Also, (on the subject of Cameo): If you choose to post some of their music?...please consider doing "The Sound Table". Not one of better known tunes; but, given the genre-crossing terrain this band has covered---I would say that THIS song, singularly, illustrates the top-tier musicality of this band. I don't know if you've heard the song, but...I'd be interested to know your thoughts about it. And...you'd be the first person, (that I'm aware of) who actually tried to replicate it.
