Pentair AquaLuminator Swimming Pool Light Bulb - LED Conversion
Переглядів 22 тис.8 років тому
This is a DIY video that explains hot to replace the halogen bulb with LED in a Pentair AquaLuminator Swimming Pool Light Bulb. I tried to boil the light to soften the glue, but it didn't work. I ended putting the light in the kitchen oven and it worked just perfectly.

Com isso consigo tirar o limite de 25.9?
@@andersonargenton5224 yes!
This worked great for me. I used a heat gun to loosen the lens to access the bulb. My old bulb was rated for 35 watts so I replaced it with a 35 watt equivalent LED bulb. I found marine sealant on Amazon to seal the lens. Thank for a great hack & saved me a lot of money.
Thank you, this was great! Clear, concise and accurate. Was able to repair our faucet aerator in 5" and save the $70 replacement cost (that's parts only; imagine if you had to pay for a visit from a plumber!). Don't let Delta Inc. or the plumbers union see this!
👏👏👏
MERCI! Je ne comprenais pas comment le désassembler et je n’osais pas forcer!
İt doesn't work anyway.
This worked perfect. The 20 minutes didn't do it, mine took 40 and didn't melt. One has to be careful when you lock it in the vice you don't crack the lens. Mine also took a slight left, then right twist but it came off. The little short wire would not lock in like yours did. I ended up soldering a wire to that one and adding a connector to make the second pole on the light connect. Anyone doing this, FYI, took me longer to get it apart (40 Mins) than the new bulb install took like 20 minutes. As of 8/2/24, there are places that now sell a color changing bulb, but it wasn't available anywhere. A place in Florida said they were taking orders and it should be in by September. I live in the North East, so by then I'm closing the pool. Good luck to those that do it, it can be done. I also checked the bulb worked by plugging it into the transformer BEFORE I did the seal!!!!
You would think for a company that offers life time warranty on things. They would make things easier for people to repair themselves instead of letting filing a claim and replacing the entire unit. What stupid engineering. Thank you for the video!
This is just great, does it work for Shimano e6100? It has the same type of sensor and magnet, I really hope it does, I have two batteries and I like to ride at 30to40 km/h so this invention would make my rides smoother and faster but still safe!
Sorry, I don't know. You will have to try it!
❤
Definitely came in clutch well explained and quick
I cannot find the aerator unit, it is not threaded like replacements. Anyone find it?
Easy peasy lemon squeasy... Thank you so much for easy to understand directions.. Fixed without a hitch.
It is cheap if you dont factor in the costs of learning how to 3D model and owning a 3D printer. But I do love this solution. You can fine tune your speed limit instead of removing it all together. You'll probably want to machine the parts out of metal for rougher terain though. And maybe use a chain instead of a rubber band.
Very helpful. Thanks for making this video, it's the only one that showed how to get the aerator out of this type of faucet to clean it. Simple once you're shown how!
Now my bike has e014 error you ruined my bike
I'm now up to 10500km with this modification without any problem. Maybe the magnet is not properly aligned with the sensor. Double check where the magnet should be relative to the sensor. Maybe also your magnet is to strong or too weak. make some test holding the magnet in your hand and passing it near the sensor.
your comment is very very rude, this random guy helped you with practically 0$, yet you come here and complain. do this at your own risk, don't blame a guy for helping you, or just go and spend money to buy it
I agree with the other positive comments about this video. Thank you for solving this problem for me.
excellent
Excellent video - and excellent solution to having to replace $$ manufacturer bulb! I see online that MR16 color/smart LEDs are available - will give that a try on mine next time bulb fails!
I see many requests fro finding the part number or replacement aerators. I looked on the Delta site and there are no exploded diagrams of the head. I do wonder if another aerator could be purchased (the style that screws onto the exterior of a faucet) and the "guts" of the aerator exchanged. In my opinion all of the pull-down faucets on the market offer dismal flow rates (typically 1.8 gpm). On my builder-basic single handle Detlta faucet ("Foundations" series) I get 3.4 gpm with a full-flow aerator. It makes filling pots and the sink far less time consuming. If anyone has tried pulling the guts out of another aerator (perhaps another Delta/Masco/Master Plumber branded part) to replace the one in a Delta spray head I would love to hear about it.
I have looked all over for how to disassemble this damn thing. Thank you!!!
This completely solved our low water pressure issue in the kitchen and now have a happy wife! Thank you!
Excellent video! That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Best video on Utube for Delta faucet fixes. Many thanks! This was so great. 2:49 - that blue part pops off (careful) with a small blade. This is the flow restrictor. Remove this blue screen and put the aerator back and flow improves on CA faucets. I have the Delta A112.18 faucet head, similar but not the same. My aerator unscrews without disassembly of faucet. Unscrew this aerator from face of faucet head using a coin or flat screwdriver. Soak in vinegar, brush clean of debris and reinstall with or without the blue screen. This improves flow.
My dude.
To lube the O-rings use a waterproof silicone grease made for faucets like "Danco Perfect Match: Silicone Grease". Other types will wash away.
Thank you so much. Absolute life saver
Thank you so much! The bezel is bit the same on my model (Addison) It appears to be sealed, but u'd love to disassemble it, if possible. I want to stop it from hissing, which is a sure sign of mineral build up.
So how can you increase the flow more than flow restricter 1.5gpm?
Thanks man you saved me $60
Thank you for this video. Saved us from buying new faucet and lots of money. Only UA-cam video showing our faucet. Great instructions. TY.
I wonder if this worth the effort
Yes, you could spend thousands of dollars on an eBike ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ and get something much higher quality. However, if you're looking for a basic model to try out eBiking this is a great choice. The assembly is easy as far as bikes go (took about an hour for me to do, I'm not an expert). All tools needed are included. I added the plastic mud guards you see and a more comfortable seat. The other reviews are correct that you're probably going to want a better seat (Giddy Up! Bike Seat is what I got - super comfortable). The battery easily handles a 2-4 hour ride if you add some of your own pedal power. I haven't even gotten it up to top speed yet - it is very fast. Components are not top of the line, but decent for the price and work just fine. It works great on dirt roads and singletrack and pavement although too heavy to do tricks or any serious technical mountain biking. I'm looking forward to using it a lot over the summer. Tons of fun!
Do ads now also come in comment form, lol.
Man I got pipe dope into my aerator and thought I would have to replace the faucet head, which would have cost me $90. So glad I came across your video, was able to clean out the aerator and now it's back to normal. Thank you so much.
I just found it. There is a special notched key that Delta provides to remove the aerator from the bottom of the assembly. I'll have to find that. I hope this helps someone.
Could you post a picture of the silicon that you used? Just trying to find the correct silicon that would make a nice waterproof seal. And could this be accomplished using a heat gun instead of an oven to loosen up the glue that holds the lens to the housing?
I want to replace the aerator 1.8 to 2.2 and I can’t find the replacement part
Very Helpful!
And I subscribed too !!
Excellent video. Was wondering how to disassemble the head. Saved me from hacking it up. Thank you

@@atcaroni downloaded the e-tuning app for shimano, there is can change the country (25/32kmh) and i can change the wiel diameter. I can change more things like the shifters, motor angle, and more. It costs 25 euro and it works for all the models

Boa noite, você pode passar as medidas da polia por favor?
Perfect. Thank you
Very helpful video. Does anyone know where to purchase replacement aerators? These are an odd size. 15mm w x 13.5mm depth.
I was just looking at that, and that online store that starts with an "A" sells those. I haven't tried it, but search for this: B0811JYG3N
This was amazingly useful. Thanks a lot for your contribution, really!
Thanks again, this is the second time I have used this video to clean my faucet.
