You don't need to service a Tesla but the Mg does look nice

All V1s have a manufacturing defect in the EVCC module. MG discovered the problem and, to avoid replacing the entire module for the entire fleet, they limited the charge to 88 kW. An approved inspection operator would have to intervene to force them to correct this by a recall action. Like you, my choice for an LFP battery was motivated by the minimal difference in charging power between the versions and especially for the longevity of the charge cycles. But in the end, it is the NMC version that displays a stable SOH!

can you watch youtube/netflix while having google maps on the same screen like with half the screen for maps and half of screen for youtube ?

I'm considering getting a performance model, I drive to London from Hampshire 3 times a week, 144 mile round trip and 3:30-4 hours - lots of bottlenecks but also 70 a lot of the time. Would I make it home ok with out a charge?

We have driven our MG 4 Standard Range for 14 months and 2000 km's now, and agree with you in most parts, but the slow home charging speed, 3.1 kW, is annoying. We have solar panels on our roof, which most of the summer produce 8-12 kW in summer day time, and with a faster on board charger we would be able to use it better.

We have a 135 gt line. Had it around 6 weeks now. It’s a neat little thing, more suited to 2 adults or 2 adults with 2 smaller children as rear is tight. For me it’s a regular commute of 50 miles round trip. We have pod points at work running at 23p per kWh which I worked out to be approximately 100mpg equivalent. I can live with it 😁😁. Really you need this facility or the ability to charge at home.

Regarding the mg4 phone app. Is there a maximum distance where you can be away from the car to monitor it's charging through the app.?

had an MG 4 64 kW for the past 16 months looking to what EV I’m likely to replace it with and having a hard time finding something that is in the price range that offers a superior set of feature

This will be perfect for me. My main long journey is once every 2 months from Welsh valleys to Reading services, it's 122miles which this will do easily. I have plenty of down hill to start and you don't get much over 50 mph until you are over the bridge on the M4 anyway or round Bristol so quids in. Thanks this has made choices interesting as there are a number of Zoe on the market now for really good money.

Warranty issues?

You neglected to show how difficult it is for anyone who isn't a body builder to get the charging plug to the car and locate it in the socket.

This Video is paid by MG. Don't waste your moneys in MG4 Standard range you will regret it. After one year will depreciate to 11000 pounds-only with 7000 miles gone. This is my real honest advise, I am MG4 owner and will never but MG again, Servise has no spare parts, Is not organising Courtesy car, Costumer service puts you like middle man between them and the MG servose, Very bad experience.

This ev is a bargain

I manage to fit 2x 23KG suitcases side-by-side in mine. That leaves space on top of them for flatter things and room in front of them for a pushcahir and a few soft bags. Easily get enough in for a family of 4 for a 2 week trip. All the coats go in the frunk and then a camping chair behind the front seats which the kids rest their feet on.

Really wanted one of these and was looking for one now.After watching this video it’s a massive no from me.225 miles is awful.I think I’ll stick to my petrol car and fill it up and do 500miles on a tank.I wish they done a petrol version of this.Even in perfect conditions like you used it,it’s still really bad.

How long do these take to charge from home?

Our MG4 SE LR has the same battery as the Trophy. Performance over the summer is 4 miles/kWh average. At 70 mph though its less and at 50 mph its more. Just like with a ICE vehicle. We're very happy with the performance, especially as our solar panels charge it for free in the sun. One good day we get 3 kW from the home battery plus 5 or 6 from the panels,so we can charge at 7kW without drawing from the grid. I appreciate our situation does not suit everyone

I must have a duff set of fittings as the boo Tom ones that fit on the body just fall or ping off. The locking things do not work and release as soon as the strut is moved to the upright position. Tried all different ways with no success, in fact one has disappeared into the depths of the bay never to be seen again. A waste of my time and money.

Not too bad. Little bit of degradation. But totally acceptable.

I wish I understood the need for or advantage of this device. I simply plug my phone onto the cable and voila! Android Auto, with everything that you illustrated here. What would this do for me apart from not having to connect my phone to a cable? which is so quick and easy.
