This is insanity! I haven't even attempted Odin yet but I've read numerous times about how tough he is. I'm also the person that put ~100 hours into this game (on normal) and still struggle with being good at the combat.

this game is not that difficult but the combat has a little bit too much into it, sometimes I feel it's easier to fight solo and focus on one character than group battles because blocking is extremely important. Great strategy here

Amazing video. Question about Cloud though (not pertaining to vid): Some of his weapon abilities will mention like additional hits for his punisher mode. While I know there's something about the berserk status (just don't remember specifics), does Cloud get like some sort of attack bonus that stacks per hit during his punisher mode (when he's swinging from side to side)? I'm just trying to figure this game out since it doesn't do the best job of explaining, and most of the explanations I've come across aren't the most credible.

So for this one I use Quaga to build up stagger, Firaga for the damage (ceremonial staff increases fire damage). You have to save your limit to dodge his temporal distortion ability. When your character has the red rings on their wrists that means that any offensive atb ability will proc Odins counter ability Reprisal. If you are using a level 3 spell (Quaga/Firaga) you should be able to tank hits and continue casting. If you use level 1 or 2 spells you will simply be knocked down and won't finish your cast which means a waste of ATB. That said, if he is in sword mode and close to you when he does reprisal he will knock you down regardless of whether you use level 3 spell or not (ex: 02:48), so in this case I suggest getting some distance first. Some useful tips: - spatial distortion always splits the arena in half the same way, so to start the match I always go about to dodge-widths to the right and plant my wards there. - you cannot use Aeriths limit (at least the level 1 one) when you have full health, so at this point in the game the only way to perfect this boss fight would be to beat him before he uses temporal distortion, or hope he just doesn't use it. A tall order before you can break the damage cap. - you need tons of ATB since you are reliant on level 3 spells (they require 2 atb bars) so max level ATB boost, and any other atb materias + any speed you can get are really useful. - since your health is so low with the HP <-> MP materia you actually gain limit super fast. This is interesting and at first you might think you could spam it for invincibility frames, however I'm pretty sure there is no way to do that without falling behind in damage and getting Zantetsukened into oblivion. All in all, my recommendation is to put this fight off til you're much higher level, or else don't do it at all! very difficult fight.

Why you don't go to Chi level 3 with unbrilded strength? Wouldn't that make basic attacks stronger? Or use True Strike too when staggered?
