If you kill him before he does his ultimate ability than yeah it doesn’t make a difference. When I did this fight with barret I believe I did use esuna.
I think my only question here is the use of Rise and Fall over Omnistrike for bust damage during the staggers. RaF builds the bonus slower over a longer animation, but i assume hits hard enough to warrant the difference? Or is it a weapon with utter unbridled strength getting that 10% buff at RaF over just 5% at omnistrike?
Not gonna lie I have not compared the two in depth. In the first game omnistrike was better I think because of the cancel which allowed you to build up the percentage much faster. I’m this one you can’t cancel (to my knowledge) so you have rise and fall adding 20% to the damage modifier vs omnistrike which I believe only adds 5% correct me if I’m wrong. In which case rise and fall seems to be the better choice.
@@teamguapogames omnistrike adds like 20% if not 30% per use and its goes quick. I've basically spammed it alternating omnistrike and unbridled strength (don't think this cancel tech is in rebirth) and done some nasty work on bosses. (Alexander was the boss I got the 300% stagger trophy on with Tifa alone)
@@TheLateral18 his double horn attack is hard for me to dodge, besides that though I equip elemental materia and nullfiy all damage in his fire and ice form so he ends up being pretty easy.
When it comes to this series, the melee characters are just as dangerous as the long range characters. Tifa is a great example of that
Tifa is absolutely broken especially in remake. 😂
Cait and tifa in the same party is actually crazy
While I believe melee characters are at a disadvantage in this fight Tifa does so much damage that she does not have to care about that kind of thing.
The woman is a walking food processor. Anything that walks too close to her gets turned into mulch.
Same with Odin. I was told ranged characters are best, but Tifa is so strong and lightning fast that I didn’t have to worry about it.
Notice you don't use esuna, does it not make a difference?
