I'm 3 years late but I can't find anything on how to level up personas anywhere. It takes insane amount of points to level them up 40 levels is there something I'm missing?

I know this is an old video but Strikers really reminded me how grateful I am that the Gallows was introduced in P5 as a core staple of the Velvet room.

He fell bc the geometry in certain boss arena are funky and the stun was bc you had a med stun for bat and a light light from the eye strike which combined into the major stun

Here in 2024. Thank you so much for this guide. I was having a dull time fusion looping when all of a sudden, a fusion failure gave me a Lvl. 74 Jack-o'-Lantern, who is part of the loop and is needed for a King Frost. That moment has to be one of the most surprising and luckiest moments I've had in any game.

since Mara naturally comes with Charge I instead replaced it, Null Nuke, and Spell Master with Dormin Rush, Sleep Boost, and Ailment Boost. That way Yoshitsune can inflict sleep on its own and then get those sweet technical boosts off Hassou Tobi. Also replacing Enduring Soul with Soul Thief, so Dormin Rush on top of dealing damage and putting enemies to sleep will restore SP for my other personas

I left support to Yoshitsune and gave metatron skill cards to build him as bless/ insta kill and healer

What does knockdown exactly do?

Solid build, but I'd just replace Mapsiodyne and Null Nuke with Brain Jack + Ailment Boost. In general my personal rule of thumb is to dedicate 2-3 slots on a Persona that leads to technicals with their damaging skill along with Soul Thief if said damaging skill doesn't do that by default. Brainwash for Forneus/Kali, Dizzy for Trumpeter/Satan, etc.

Honestly I don't feel Salvation is good in this game. Even with Speel Master it costs too much SP for what it does. I'd rather pop Divine Grace Mediarama + Amita Shower if you're trying to heal + get rid of status effects, less SP for very similar results.

This isn't the worst build you can go with but there's definitely better. I personally went with a sleep focused build by using Dormin Rush with Ailment Boost + Sleep Boost, allowing for more convenient technical hits with Hassou Tobi since you don't need to switch Personas. Combine that with Soul Thief and you can generate free SP for healing with a separate Persona.

This is definitely the best build you can go with here except one thing imo. I'd replace Null Nuke with Fear Boost due to the fact that Black Frost can cast Evil Smile via combo. Free easy SP without needing to spend it on Diamond Dust.

do you know how to increase party members persona stats? somehow i got goemons stats all 99 except for luck stat not sure how but i think it was from farming miniboss in merciless mode but cant do it for the other party members persona.

Very cool, but why shadow of grief? Isnt that only helpful if enemies are purely using curse or you have omnipotent orb ? i have an arsene that i spam brain jack with to infinitely heal sp and then switch to a killer and/ or just start using megidolao (forgot how to spell it but the almighty move alice starts with when you get her). Doesnt work on bosses but its good for sp managing hordes which are near endless in the game im on standard difficulties as well, not sure if brain jack spam is viable in merciless or not for horde management. I even see speedrunners burning sp like candy since you have to cheese everything there lol

Doesnt it make more sense to just farm demiurge+ for null skill cards and then just use them on mara with a physical resist card? Its RNG yes but you dont have to go tbrough masochist mode just for that either (i imagine using them on lucifer is an option too but i may just put it on mara once i get back to this point)

I just slapped salvation on mine. Diarahan was slotted into thors moveset who is right next to yoshitsune in my order. I almost never need samarecarm on joker over salvation (if someone's dead the rest is at least half dead) and if I do my party is there for that anyways

Tricks! Therse 2 kind of attack that insta kill super to play, there is pixie that his normal attack whitout use magic she give low life and I found that in hardcore in the final prison there is the dire shadow he giving 2 soma evry time but the first battle ,that's totally gives back your magic useless before go battle the fals God. I decided since I already had trumpeter for dizzy that I would make Seth also a Curse user, I came up with this because there are only 10 persona slots and 11 different types of moves including almighty so 1 had to go, I couldn't get rid of Lucifer because I need a quick and easy way of getting SP so I thought about it and came to the conclusion that since Seth is already part Curse that I would do just that, Alice didn't do much for me because Die for me Takes way to much sp to actually work so now my Seth has Gun boost, Gun Amp, Curse boost, Curse amp, Knockdown style, spell master, Riot gun And a heavy curse move. (Wow I didn't realize how much I wrote...)

While building Koppa tengu step I had a fusion accident that made it into a hecatoncheires with the moves i needed XD

beating a dire is surprising easy once you get use to their moves. It's all about the skills and some level.

Easiest way is to farm on Treasure demons in later jails, they give such high rewards plus very rare skill cards like drain skills when you beat them in merciless mode

Anyone have a path from jack o lantern to Alice?

Can i use the already fused personas at level 20 stats that I already register for fused from the start? Or I have to start from the bottom of each persona for each fusion?

Actually here’s something to note. The Omnipotent orb nullifies everything except Almighty in every game including persona five vanilla. But for royal they changed it to just magic.

My only issue is when I saw the moveset, I noticed Concentrate which can be be cast for free by the □□△△ combo. That is probably the main thing to change unless you have 500+ SP

I thought that shadow of grief didn't work with a persona's natural affinities.

So Lucifer is best used against huge hordes, rather then singular enemies and bosses. Noted, I’ll stick to Yoshitsune for that.
