The kingdom is not just the church

Thankfully that’s a teaching the ICOC walked back years ago and no longer teaches. The church is not the Kingdom but if you’re in the Church as in the body of Christ you’re in the Kingdom.

Are you saying that the body of Christ will spend eternity in heaven? This isn't biblical based on Revelation 21 and 22. There will be a new heaven and earth, including the new city of Jerusalem, which will all be eternal. The present heaven and hell are both temporary according to the scriptures.

This is why I always had issues deep down with the "Kingdom" First Principles study. It makes a lot of weird illogical jumps and presumptions to lead to the ICC = God's Kingdom conclusion. I even knew people at my branch that were uncomfortable leading that particular study.

It is an interesting quirk that the ICoC and ICC refers to themselves as "The Kingdom". While true that the body of believers - 'Christ's Church' are part of his Kingdom, insofar as the members that actually die in Gods grace. It's entirely presumptuous for someone who starts a new 'church' to refer to it as 'THE Kingdom', of course inferring that as leader of this new church by extension are also the steward of said Christ's Kingdom of Heaven. Sort of the Eliakim to King David. I wonder if the original CoC that was part of the restoration movement called themselves 'The Kingdom' as well. It seems that every denomination that claims to know the Bible, falls into a similar way of thinking, declaring their own interpretation as infallible and claiming all the authority of Peter having the keys to the Kingdom and the authority to to bind & loose. There is an interesting idea that the term's "Kingdom of Heaven" and "Kingdom of God" as found in the NT are actually referring to 2 differing things, the former is what we build as disciples with Jesus on earth and the latter is the heavenly dwelling place of God. It's a fun idea to hear people try and explain from scripture, but it has it's problem. Your discussion reminded me of it.

So coming out of the ICOC, the kingdom was synomous with the church (grr). But the kingdom is much larger and much different from any one church or group of churches. I don't think we should think of any church (group of people) as "the kingdom", individual people are added TO the kingdom--not a whole church or group of people.

The greatest sin of Kip is not pornography or masturbation, but claiming himself and his followers as the only true group, isolating and controlling them through a cult-like system and authoritarian leadership for personal gain. Furthermore, ostracizing those who leave the group only adds to this wrongdoing. King David only repented because he was humiliated and called out so harshly by Nathan, it’s so sad to see people hating on a man who is clearly trying to repent, I’ve has maybe one or two conversations with Kip in my life and they weren’t even that deep but to see someone being so hateful towards this guy enough to make a video assuming whether or not his restoration is real or valid is probably one of the saddest and low life things I’ve ever seen, Colton I truly hope you repent of your hate and see how truly wrong it is what you’re doing here with any and every single video you make about that church, I really hope you see the hate and bullying you have inside of you and really change it because it’s sad to see a human looking at another human and judging whether or not their attempt to be restored to God is real or not instead of simply and ONLY hoping for the best and praying that it’s real instead of posting something that would only discourage someone who is truly trying to repent. Thank you for sharing 🤍 I was in ICC NYC for 3 yrs. Around 2020-2023 I then moved and went to the one here in RI. Did a lot of praying and it was tough to leave because I met some Amazing women that taught me a lot. I was scared because they did make it seem they were the one true church. I met some great co-workers that all went to different churches and we have a prayer group before school starts (teachers). I prayed a lot 🙏🏽 And I am still close to God and found a church. I am grateful 🤍

This is not true repentance he is only repenting because he got exposed if you listen to what he mentioned he said he is humiliated what better way to fix it to give a sad sobbing( story ) feeling sorry for himself while his crowd cheers to his lies and they follow ther leader 😂😂😂😂

The RCW is more or less the 4th iteration of Kip's vision of what the church should look like. 4 decades of church doctrine according to Kip. May those who have wisdom and a discerning Spirit understand. God has spoken clearly and we can all see the fruits. A church founded on Matthew 28: 18-20 had relied more on the flesh, on the efforts and vision of one man than the one relying on the Spirit of Christ (Acts 1). It's just like building a sandcastle right before the tide, it's just a matter of time before it collapses (Psalms 127:1). After Israel realized that they had sinned against God by not trusting nor relying on him after the 12 spies returned to Moses (Leviticus 13) God wiped out a group of them and told the remainder that they would live and die in that desert. The people 'repented' and immediately went on, attempting to take the land, trying to do the will of God without taking head to the Voice of God, and God was not with them, they were severely defeated by the enemy. They went on with the promise of God without listening to the Spirit of God (Numbers 13:39-45). Church is not about reading bible verses and simply doing what the scriptures say, it's about being one with Christ and His Spirit, walking with Him, becoming like him. If that can help some, Christ had more the characteristics of an introvert than those of an extrovert.

Kip's speech looks sincere to me. It is also apparent that there would have been no repentance or restoration for Kip without the brothers fellowshipping with him and helping him to repent and be restored. Galatians 6:1-2. 1st John 5:16, James 5:16 and 1st John chapter 1.

Wowwwww they made a whole clip of Kip's restoration!!! When did they EVER do that for someone else who was 'Restorered'? Also, how can Jason use the prodigal son story? Even as he read out that familiar passage, nothing about that story resembled Kip's! He didn't ask for his share of the estate and leave for wild living! He did all of the whilst STILL in the ministry! He did not hire himself out yo feed pigs etc! He did not 'come to his senses ' he was pushed (and even then I don't feel he's being sincere). He did not come before the church as a humbled man, unworthy of forgiveness. Instead he seems more expectant of it. And thrm Jason jumps straight to the give him a robe etc. In other words, he allowed him to be elevated back to his seat of influence. In short, Kip's repentance and the that of the prodigal son's are completely different. One was genuine, the other a fake manipulation. You decide!

How can he say he was "Blinded by his sins"? So the fact that you were often drunk and created images of sisters for your sual gratification wasn't clear enough for you to see your sins? "I confused ministry success with Godly success!" What???? Did he just make God a scapegoat??? I'm sorry, so far all I'm hearing are excuses as to 'why' he was 'faltering ' not honest and sincere confession. Plus why is he using scriptures to justify himself? I feel that he is just trying to represent himself as a Godly man again so that he can start leading the movement again. Here's the thing. If he was truly sorrowful and repentant, he would have come to his own convictions and confessed instead of waiting to be literally caught with his pants down. I genuinely wish he was sincere in his repentance, but my spirit tells me he is still far, far from it.

I've only listened to the first few seconds of his speech about his 'repentance' and there inlays the problem. He's preaching a sermon, not sharing a confession! I do not hear any remorse, indignation, alarm etc. Unlike Ron when he recently shared, you could visible see how the situation effected him, but KM seems to literally be using this as an opportunity to get back on the podium to preach again. What's more is the attitude of the other leaders and members. Even the way he was introduced was like a gushing of praise over a man who seriously hurt people and the crowd were just cheering him! Surely, if someone is truly coming to share a repentant heart, they're should be a more sombre atmosphere? This is very telling and shame on them if they allow themselves to be fooled again! He used this same trick when he started the ICC!!!

I have mixed feelings on this. And just for full disclosure, I've been with the icoc for 27+ years and disagree with all the worship of leadership that I see in the icc and whatever this new church is called, as well as all the legalism of the past in the icoc. While yes, the speech was less than perfect and easy to punch holes through, and perhaps insincere and manufactured, this really is between him and God. I think about all the times that I've been halfhearted in repentance, or had to make myself look and sound sadder than I actually was. I would like to believe that God sees past that insincerity just like He would any other sin that is covered by the blood of Jesus. His grace is so unimaginable and we are so undeserving. So...was he sincere and does he really want to follow God? In reality, only God can read his mind and motives and be sure. From an outsider's perspective, I see someone who could have just easily bailed and just stopped following altogether, but he is choosing to continue. Who am I to judge him when I have a bunch of my own sin? I don't want to cast that stone.

Kip, So arrogant to think that your personal sins stop Jesus from saving thousands of people. God can use a talking donkey to help people come to repentance. The Holy Spirit is working despite your sins. In fact, how God is dealing with you helps many in their faith. But I don’t think God is done working on you yet, for you have not allowed this hardship to turn into true righteousness.

People want to water it down, but understand if he is unrepentant, you share in his wickedness. Understand, even God carries through consequences for sin after forgiveness. To not have standards, to not have true openness, to not have brokeness over the sin but more over his image and his humiliation because he was found out/exposed… (this does not show repentance, just brokeness, brokeness of being found out for who he really is). No public apology for all the people he drove from the church when they exposed corruption, no mention of his abuse of power, abuse of finances, sick cover up of abuse, etc. Even Zacchaeus gave half his possessions and wanted to pay back anyone 4x’s the amount he stole from them when he encountered Jesus. (Doesn’t he have 4 million stolen from disciples in a scam to “evangelize the world?”) No protection for the sisters, no stipulations on his fellowship, social media, computer etc. they make apps that can be installed XXX Church! Nothing like that has been shared to show true repentance. Shouldn’t he apologize to Ron Harding? I mean if he really is grateful for this exposure to get right with God… you would think Ron would be a hero like Nathan was to David! (Named his son after him). According to the scriptures we have to make a judgement; so you decide but don’t think it’s just as simple as “forgive & forget” aka brush it under the rug!

Groups like these worship their leaders, the true idolatry - it's what happens when the Crucifix is removed, the focus goes from Christ and finds itself upon the wrong things.

What would you do to King David? The guy almost killed himself.. Maybe that's why Mathew 18 says to do this with ONE OTHER BROTHER. "Christ died for the ungodly." That includes Kip. Jesus said "Forgive or you will not be forgiven." The Devil goes after the people causing him problems. Do what Jesus commanded you to do, SHOW MERCY ON YOUR BROTHER.
