Will it run? Let's rescue this Power trac 1850!
That’s what is called a grey market machine. Originally produced for the Japan market but imported into the USA. Kubota won’t even try to provide parts for grey market machines. You might be able to cross reference some parts with US market models but not many.
A credit card makes a good squeegee.
Turn ur arm around it will go a lot higher
Did u check if it hade oil in it and coolint
turn the gas on dufus
Got mine at Princess Auto for $110.00. I had a 2000lbs winch that I had repaired and I put it on my crane on my trailer. Works awesome.
As noted by many others, the trailer frame needs to be substantially beefed up so it doesn't bend/break the trailer. However....you could also weld a very strong ring or U-bolt to the top of the mast, but below the parts that rotate. Run a chain and a ratcheting chain binder from the mast to the opposite side of the trailer. Make a big "V" so you don't lose all the support when you rotate the boom into the trailer.
I operated one of those, briefly many, many years ago. I was 18 no experience, rush job loading 55 gal. Drums of chemical. A real rodeo. That machine had a mind of its own. Beat me to death, I never wanted to see one again. I understand that since then they are user friendly, not user killable.
Everything is a hammer, even a screwdriver, which is sometimes a chisel.
Thread sealant, we doon need no stinking thread sealant.
It’s a JOHN DEERE “BW”
Chinese....strong but CRUDE and UGLY.
You're not the brains of the family are ya ,read the instructions next time and the boom on the right way ya numb skull !
You mounted it the wrong way….
I cannot get the bonnet / hood off due to the steering rod going through the hood how do i remove it? Thanx
Saw this for sale! is it still available.,
I have a box scraper like that, when it's sitting on the ground it won't even budge, it's seriously like trying to move a brick wall it's so heavy.
This one Wasn’t made in 1980 1975 or older rear door is different on 1976-1982 models
That's an "All Fuel" Tractor... Nice!...
I happen to own one of the very last BW's that came off The John Deere Line in late 1952..... The Brass Plate was never stamped with a Serial Number, but other resources say the Number is 300867 which would put it at a higher number than records...It was redone back in the late 1980's from the Ground on up.... It came down out of Maine... It was originally a Potato Cultivator.... She still looks like it just drove out of a Dealer's Show Room.... I have quite a few JD's in my Collection... I even know of an Experimental Oliver Tractor that Sits down the Road from me.... It says OLIVER X26 on the side.... Its really old... It was before Sheet Metal was a "thing"... It somewhat resembles an old Farmall F-12... Something like that... She's in the weeds and brush for probably at least since I was a kid, and I am at the 50 Marker... The Engine isn't tight... I'm not sure about the Transmission, Differentials and that stuff.....
Gracias amigo for sharing.
You need to go on and check your glow plugs. That's a lot of cranking on the starter. Uh-oh there you go. Right as I make my comment the truck starts!
Stop playing around bro I'm going to invent the air out of the fuel filter...
You can hook a twelve volt battery to that tractor. The starter doesn't care, its wound plenty heavy enough. Same with the generator. Change the bulbs in the kights, and you're good. It'll start a lot easier, especially if its cold out
My 52 BO has been converted to 12 volts, and like you said the starter motor has heavy windings that can handle 12 volts.
When you did that thing with your hand, my brain started smoking. Now I'm an alcoholic.
My uncle fueled our j d and it was running. Dumb move it flashed over and caught him and the fuel can on fire. He threw the can and pulled off the burning shirt. By then he had 2nd degree burns over most of his upper torso. Wasnt worth the time he spent at hospital. Lesson learned.
Man....I'd love to have a wide steering B. Need a tractor for land work and a tricycle front is just too risky to take into the woods
Heck yeah pretty tough u got it ❤💪🙏
I like this video. Thanks for sharing
Needle vavle stiking
That's incredible that you found that for $500. List price for all that was probably $40,000. After a year, how do you like it?
That looks a lot easier to work on than my Steiners. But the length is probably a bit much for really rough terrain.
So. Why would the same model want to turn one direction slowly say to the right slow and left is normal speed. Belt driven???
By ny opinion you have all wrong - position of the crane should be somewhere on the back around trailer wheels so they can take weight. Crane arm is installed opposite than it is designed so your lifting angles are not sufficient enough to lift anything serious or long, etc....
Only John Deere we had back in the 1960's was a 620 wide front. Rascal would really roll down our gravel roads with a wagon full of square bales.
I have one of these excavators at my house, it belongs to my friend. Some parts are still available from Kubota. I’ve rebuilt the dozer cylinders, I was able to measure them. They are metric. Also check the pistons for straightness.
You need a couple of dollies to put your stuff on so they can roll
Don't need to leave 2 to 3 ft though It can be done without all that slack.
You should paint machine gold
Strap isn’t very tight on the load side.
Just the tip I needed.
You should definitely go back and get some money to that guy that's worth about 15,000 I was bidding on one of the auction a few months back lost it at 3500 I didn't have an attachment with it just a rotary mower
You should go back and give that man some more money
Yes you stole that
Never seen one like it before 😢
What a beautiful sound
Great video

@14:00 that air filter is THIRTY years old???? (close enough)
Yeah! It is old, but I've pulled older ones off of equipment in the past.
Is this machine for sale at all?
