Great content. I've followed you for some repairs. My controller has stopped powering up, after a board replacement. It did work first but after a few days, it doesn't power up. I've split it apart and put it back but unable to figure it out. Once or twice it randomly powered while I was tearing it down but have figured out the cause. Any guidance on what could be the problem? Battery contacts are clean. All connectors are tight and in place

Thanks for the video. I didn't realize how much there is to repair these devices. I really want to purchase the 3s because I can not afford the 3 right now. Your video may have helped me with my decision to purchase the 3s. We got my son the 2 when it first came out. So far, we have only had to replace 1 controller. I am sure there is drifting on the other controller, but he has not complained. So we will let it go until the wheels fall off, so to speak. Keep putting out videos, and I will keep watching. I just liked and subscribed to your channel. Keep up the great work.

how did you pre-order a pick up through best buy? no stores allowed me to do pre order a pick up, i could only have it shipped straight to my house. i wanted to pick it up because amazon was saying it would come on the 17th… 2 days after the release even though i pre ordered it 3 weeks ago. i check walmart, best buy, target, everywhere and i could only do shipping none of the stores let me do pick up…

Got my meta quest 3s on launch day. Coming from a precious quest 3 owner I can compare both and give a honest opinion. I had a quest 3 but sold it half way through the year as I needed cash quickly but missed my quest so waited until I could afford something to replace it. Hearing of the 3s I thought Id go for it as it was cheaper and could play all the same games of the 3. I find both the 3 and 3s both great and most people will be very happy with the 3s it really is very close a comparison between them Unless you have money to spare you’ll be really happy with either headset. Don’t feel you get a lesser product with the cheaper option both are great and worth their individual prices. Just decide what you want and can afford and go for it.

I prefer the passthrough button because when I first had my quest 2 a little over a year and a half ago, 1 song in particular at like exactly 75% speed or something would cause it to switch to passthrough while it was playing

I cant go back to frensel after trying pancake. Im very sensitive to the screen door effect and the blur is so distracting.

The lenses suck. Period. There's just no getting around it. I had a friend get two different pairs of prescription lenses because he thought he needed to fix some astigmatism he had because he was convinced that it was HIS eyes that were the problem. He couldn't fathom that the Quest 2's lenses were that bad and that people were actually playing VR and wearing these things. He felt so dumb when he tried my Quest 3. But he also ended up selling his Quest 2. Even after investing all that money in the lenses.

I got the quest 3 day one when it came out but it was kinda rt before the summer and I wasn't using it as much as I thought, it looked and worked amazing but because it was $500 I would feel bad I was not using it and would play when I wasn't into it, I ended up selling it and going back to quest 2 and enjoyed VR again . Now with the quest 3s I sold my quest 2 for $100 plus the free game and 3 month quest + it's like getting the quest 3 for $150. And the quest 3s looks and plays just like quest 3

When I told him today that I had meet a few nice folks and they mentioned that they fix VR he immediately pulled out this UA-cam page and we saw this 😃 what a coincidence! Please help Meta quest 3 The buttons of my left controller are not working its turning on and whenever i put in new battery it says battery low after 5 to 10 seconds the same battery works fine in the right controller and shows 100% in the right controller but left controller only joystick works no other button works

The make was is essentialy the weakest part this complicated to replace is absolutely bonkers, and i do t think paying for repairing it is worth the price, her in norway it will probably cost the same as a new headsett

This looks alot easier than the 2 i tried to fix my 2 controlled but eneded up breaking it completely! Lol will the thumbsticks i got for the q2 work for the q3 are they pretty much the same?

Very informative as always. Do you sell the outer ring shell (plastic part only)? They are not listed on your website and my inquiries via the contact form have been unanswered. I was able to replace the other broken part on my right controller but not the ring shell from the website. Thanks.

Maybe as an air channel? When I have my headset on and volume on max, during loud noises, you can feel air blasting out of those holes and on your temple, which feels kind of weird. That's why most speakers have an air channel where air escapes, and this headset doesn't. Maybe he did that to stop that weird feeling
