Havnt used my quest 2 in months, but I remember searching online for a quest 2 lens upgrade from the plastic fresnel lenses to a quality glass lens. I never found anything which I find surprising. The plastic fresnel lenses are what cause the blurriness on the outer edges among other visual annoyances. Would be a great investment to upgrade to a quality glass lens if i could find one that fit the quest 2 correctly. let me know if you ever come across anything like this. Thanks for the video
I have been experimenting with it as I’m starting to get more quest 3’s at my disposal. My experience has been that there is a thin layer of plastic on the pancake lens that the quest 2s do not have. It makes it way harder to do this. You’d have to effectively take the whole coating off and find a way to recoat it.
I think my controller is broken because i have new batterys it works and stuff but in vr it doesnt show up but in pass through on vr i see 3 random white dots on my ring of my right controller on quest 2 and when i shake my controller i hear some rattling noises from the ring. do you know how to fix it?
Sounds like your ring sensor may have gotten damaged. The website he lists in the description has them, but they're not in stock currently.The controller is dead without it working, so maybe lookup how to take it apart and see if possibly one of the sensors just got moved inside.
Could you make a video on how to replace it on the quest 3, and how you got the lens replacements because i cant find any.
