Im confused i thought when you steer to the right trailer goes to the opposite which would be left...thats in real life. Is it different just for this gane or am i not understanding yiur terminology.
Good job sir
parking a single lowboy flatbed with a 6x4 midlift on a LONG wheelbase up in idaho I got so frustrated I broke my simulator rig....now I am getting a new one cause logitech didn't hold up.
It’s not a challenge if you change the camera. I understand you’re trying to teach, but if you could teach what to do from cab view, that’s be awesome. I feel ATS is really only a simulator if you stay in the cab view.
I have trouble backing up doubles
I was wondering since u liked that trucking game did u tried to manage getting your cdl or working on trucking?
Cómo consigo ese simulador por favor
You'll find it on Steam
Where can I buy this game! Lol i need this set up for the holidays 🎉
I’m gonna go get my CDL now thank you
Nice where can I get this similator
The first time I came accross this place was at night. Thus using the bird's eye view was helpfull, it still took me any hour of real time to do. Week's lator, having done it once at night, doing it in the day time, was a piece of cake. In my days prior to retirement, when I didn't know exactly the layout of the area I was to back into. I would get out and scope out the entire area on foot first. My son being half my age prior to my retirement. Utilizes a whole knew technolgy rather than walking, he uses a drone to view the layout of the area.
Looking for Parrell Parking for American Truck Simulator. Is there a CDL Class A program?
When you turned your wheels to the right, your trailer went to the left. When you turn your wheels to the left, your trailer went to the right. Remember, your trailer will go the OPPOSITE direction the way you turn your wheels
!!!!!!!!!!!
bonjour est qu il en francais et gratuit ce jeu s il vous plait
Do you have a tutorial for those super long, multi section trailers where they all pivot/rotate freely? Backing those up seems impossible
Great job!
What game is this?
Will this help with cdl
I cringe everytime you do a 90 degree+ jackknife. I drove a tractor trailer for a decade and I would never have even thought of doing what you do so causally and often. It is NOT good for the kingpin and trailer. You ever LOOK at a 5th wheel/kingpin on a truck? Once that grease is worn off you're looking at metal on metal. NOT good.
lol what happened at 25:29??? trailer heading towards spot then suddenly the video cuts to it being in the spot.
Thanks solely to you and your vids I now never choose the easy parking. Your demonstration and explanation is spot on.
Kiibo
You sure make it look easy.
Most impressive.
i have no idea whats with the long comments but nice video
Do you suggest invedting in the sim and a steering wheel to practice my backing. Hence to be better equipped for real world
This was tremendously helpful.
Thank you so much!
Dang wish you could do that with flat bed trailers; with fixed axels lol.
I've noticed that the destination marker almost every time puts you in a bad spot in relation to the actual parking spot lol and that little dinky red map marker doesn't help.
I'm actually starting to get the hang of it...
You're misleading people. Turning the wheels to the left, trailer it will go to the right when you back in, not left like you say. It's common offset parking. You might want to get off games and go do some real truck driving before you give others driving lessons.
You need to watch the video again, and pay attention this time. He's talking about using a steering wheel in your living room, while looking at the grille of your truck. So everything is backwards. This is a video game.
In the World, a blind side backing is very difficult , you just cant see anything.
That is not how you do an offset back
Being a truck driver, this was the most frustrating thing I’ve ever watched.
Maybe you shouldn't be watching backing tutorials for a video game then.
@@GodprefersDiesels I just so happened to stumble across it and decided to watch it.
my job require driving a trailer (only like 6m long for utes) and never got time to practice during work. so here i am, getting a game that involves reversing and watching a tutorial ,
All jokes aside this happened to me one time. I went hard left and stopped incomming traffic and backed out of the place. At the same time I bitched at them that the next time they see me come up they will have to move there shit out of the way so I cane come in and go or else I will turn around and drop the load on the yard and they will get it when ever. FK this shit..
I just put it in drive and drive the Fer and drive it out. How funny..
lol I do this shit in real life. A good setup is key. Bad setup will make the the best driver look like a noob. Don’t ever set yourself up for a blind 90° backing lol.
Bro, you’re an ATS god! Thanks for the video.
Thank you on Parking brake advice for Role playing purposes!
53 feet trailer could be bought from the trailer store
'Plus I got a "Magic marker"' loool
This channel is pure gold. 4.57 subs? What a shame, it should be 4.57 mil subs!
Thank you! As long as the tool is too easy, overcomplicating things is what left to present the useful info!
If you guys use an actual steering wheel put a hand at 6 o'clock positron and it may be easier for the noobs.
thx a lot u disserve way more subs
My problem is the trailer doesn't back in the direction I want it to go. no matter which arrow key I press left or right it just goes in the same direction.
oh i know this spot all to well in ats
To whom this concerns; I wish you could see the gratitude and expression on my face right now! I've been trying now for three months to get backing up a tractor trailer, I pretty much gave up, until this morning - I decided to try again, so I accidentally found this video, and watched it, and then again.... This tutorial is spectacular, and helped me understand, at the very least, the light bulb finally came on!! Thank you for this awesome tutorial!!!!!
