I like taking purely martial classes and restricting them to using only magic. (i.e no melee) A cantrip only barbarian is hilarious since they have to wait until level 4 before they can get spellsniper. I do like playing paladins as purely caster only, its fun.

As a totally newb to both BG3 and D&D, I chose storm sorcerer from just reading the blurbs in the character creator. It was so much fun, especially being able to fly around from the very beginning. It was a little slow going at first (probably my fault because I was so new) but around level 5 or 6, it started bringing big damage. Plus all the lightning gear you can early throughout act 1- I was having a ton of fun.

Here's a realistic alternative. Build Shadowheart as a tempest cleric and focus on thunder and lightning cantrips or spells. Get the items with reverb and enjoy proccing reverb on anything Shadowheart does

I mean… I went full sor lock- 2-10 and my eldritfh blast volley crush enemies… gets boring though-- can go days without sleeping

Only need lvl 3 sorcer for unlimited spell slots and sorc points. Use metamagic conversation with +1 spell slot shield is the method.

This seems like one of those bills that great at lvl 9-12 but mediocre mid to early game

I didn't die but lost ended up with a downed character behind a texture, took a while to sort that out with my smooth brain

destroy all eggs in sneak-mode first and you'll be ok.

Red Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer is still more OP at end game. Add Elemental affinity and spell Sniper then boom. Fire goddess of death.

Wow. My fire sorc is ok with fire. I'll try it when I almost finish the game. My paladin killed Orin, then gortash, and I skipped almost all act3. I don't like act 3 because it's end game. Any Sorc with right gear will be op. 3 casters in party, and you are unstoppable.

Im about to complete Shadowhearts storyline and that fight was a BEAST so I'm definitely going to try this

I do this build with a 2-10 sorc wizard split. The cold snap dagger as an off hand at the beginning of act 3 makes the abjuration ice mage so powerful. Its my favorite build ive put together so far. Also turning arcane recovery into meta magic points is so much fun.

There’s a ring in act two under some floor boards it’s great for ice build it basically means when ice damage is inflicted an ice surface is created this also counts with ice storm making an even bigger ice surface

Can't you just turn into a halfling for that extra boost before making potions or alchemy stuff?

I don't think this format (reels) is best for showing off a class in baldurs gate 3. Like when you said to equip two magical staffs without explaining where they came from. "Get your hands on these items" okay where? Just make a longer video and explain it properly.
