You missed the transmission cross-brace shims, which are included with the BMR kit. That moves the driveshaft down to a better angle for the differential. Also, the purpose of the heatshield is to protect the 2-piece driveshaft's center carrier bearing. To be honest, we probably need to build a full-length heatshield to protect the carbon fiber driveshaft from radiant heat from the exhaust because the temperature limit on the carbon fiber resins is 225-250F, which is lower than the OEM carrier bearing.

FYI, either kit will work on the ATS-V on SJM's web site. The difference being one uses Hurst solenoids and the SJM uses their solenoids. I purchased the SJM version (switch included) and it works wonderful.

Now there’s malfunction with my multi terrain system and electronic issues with the engine, throttle and transmission. Had reduced engine power issues as well. Basically the computer system put my vehicle in safe mode. Took my Runner to the shop and they said the EFI fuse was the problem. So don’t remove or tap your morimoto headlights into that slot. You’re welcome
