    I will be honest. I have been playing Valo a lot for the past like month and am currently platinum. The majority my games I play with 4 of my friends, who just so happen to be available a lot lately. But whenever we don't all have time I sometimes plays solo or duo with my brother. It's pretty mental how often people leave the game in this elo. Like I am literally talking maybe half the games where your team is losing by 3+ rounds someone will say it's unplayable and either leave or start trolling, losing more rounds into leaving like 3 rounds later. I come from LoL where leaving the game/afk is heavily punished and basically doesn't happen. I don't understand how it's so wide spread in Valorant. Still I wouldn't say it's any reason for you not to rank up as the chance you get an afker is the same on both teams.

      I’m plat as well and haven’t had an afk in the past 20 matches with me playing only solo que.. it’s not that oftem dude. It’s just that we humans remember the negative parts of our lifes more than the good parts. And remake is an option.

      Yeah I definitely feel the struggle with AFK teammates. I've had it happen in my games what feels like an unusually high amount of times compared to other games. I think a lot of people do use it as cope (not saying you are) to stop themselves from figuring out what they can improve to move forward in rank. I always say this when people say things like "it's not me it's my teammates" - if that were true then how did literally everyone above your rank rank up? Did they just get lucky for 30-50 games in a row? It's mostly in your control. Sure there are games where that won't be the case, but more often than not you can absolutely make a large enough impact to rank up.

    • @simonnilsson8375

      @@ValoRATStrats definitely this, also AFK only pose a threat to losing you the game. You can steal outfrag your opponents with team calls and aim. With the extra money you got, buying an OP on defense will also build up your KD much quicker than the enemy will

    I get your point homie, but I'm also not in the top or in pro play... I'm playing with people who don't get the game, and neither do I most of the time. I can absolutely play for support, I always go sentinel OR controller, very rarely do I go duelist. Sometime I go initiator. But the problem is for me, in these damn games... WHEN I'M PLAYING a ROLE that doesn't require me to get kills but focus on utils... I'M THE TOP FRAG OR SECOND FRAG. And my team either wins or loses, it doesn't matter how many rounds I clutch, or how many rounds I play properly... If my TEAM don't communicate at all THEN get mad at me for not knowing wtf I should be doing to help them, then idk. It feels like I NEED to get a lot of kills, otherwise I'm losing more RR to bad team mates.

    Last one u kinda relied on clove playing poorly tho. I assume they know you are low and have 12s to plant when you tap it. A good player would have jigglepeeked/deadzone prefired/spammed. But that clove just straight up walked out cubby. A safer play would be to go backsite, sorta open plant, place a cam and knife out CT, maybe wrap through garage after. If you really want a tierlist for RANKED SOLO GAMEPLAY, just enter on metasrc and see the top five agents with most win rate on radiant (where the game is played correctly, so there are no wins based on gimmicks). The top 5 is: Sage Neon Phoenix Brimstone Kayo Now, based on all stats, kda, win rate, pick rate (large sample) and dmg per round. The top 1 agent to play is Clove. Reyna is statistically better than Jett, and the better initiators in the game are Sova and Gekko. Best duelist is Neon based on winrate. Now, based on all ranks. The better comp possible should be: Duelist: Neon/Phoenix Initiator: Gekko/Sova Controller: Clove/Brimstone Sentinel: Sage/Cypher

    The difference on chamber is actually huge - played him on ascent today you can trip A main, teleport in tree and play bottom mid. Fight tiles, tp into tree and repeek tiles from a totally different angle or help your A player. Also got a ton of value being annoying on off angles and drawing early util then with the to range could get to a much safer spot Not S tier but I do think it brings him up to B or even low A

    Clove is literally S tier if you have viper second controller

  • @solarxenoz
    @solarxenoz 16 днів тому

    Putting chamber in D tier just shows how little you know how much a good chamber can impact a game. They can singlehandedly force more utility to be used to try and clear them out early, thus slowing down or making the site hit weaker; he can get an early pick which creates more holes in the enemies plans that forces them to slow down. i.e, killing a sentinel forces the enemy to commit to a site, waste time by forcing somene to watch flank, and forces enemies to reclear areas they normally wouldnt with utility, allowing for earlier rotates and easier site holds; killing a controller limits options because they cant block sightlines, forcing teammates to play slower to clear out a potential operator; killing an initiators forces enemies to clear significantly more angles than normal due to lack of info; and killing the duelist makes site takes weaker which forces the attack to speed up before rotates come in, or stop and play the map more slowly to look for an opening. Notice how ALL OF THESE early kills forces the enemy to play more cautiously or risk being punished. He has *more* than enough stopping power because his guns allow him to constantly apply the same pressure on map control as he would on a full buy, becoming lazy in clearing because of an eco doesnt work beause chamber has a headhunter, being lazy in general will lead you to get punished. Chambers "lack of stopping power" doesnt exist, your just looking at how he can stop an exec *as its happening*, which he isnt designed to do, hes designed to stop the exec before it starts and force the enemy to use early utility to clear out areas he might be pushed up in which created holes in the exec tha can be exploited, or to lurk and get free picks which weaken the site hold/retake. This single ranking (along with putting viper, yoru, neon, astra, vyse, and phoenix as low as they are, and with you putting sage, reyna, deadlock, and clove as high as they are of course.) tells me you dont acctually know the concept and integral idea of most of these agents fufill. I could rant about a lot of these picks and how objectively bad they are, but I just had to point out how lazy and downright wrong you were for putting chamber in D. No offense.

    good tier list imo, i do disagree with some choices here like deadlock being too high nd chamber being too low especially after the buff, a good agent for solo Q should be self efficient, team oriented agents can be a bit meh, let alone a sentinel tht u cant even play as a solo senti bcz she is simply not tht good, but anywy, nice vid.

      @ValoRATStrats 16 днів тому

      Honestly I think console is still really young and people are still figuring it all out. I’m sure this would look different for console but I’m just not tapped into that platform enough to know how the controls could or couldn’t change the way you play agents. For example agents like Skye I would imagine are a nightmare right now on console with how accurate and technical you have to be with her flashes. I just don’t know what all those differences would be since I don’t play console!

    I never really like tier lists, I get this is a requested video. But tier lists are kinda just content/viewer bait. One shouldn’t play what’s the “best”, one should play what they enjoy playing and keep it to that and never switch, at least until to reach immortal. There’s similar agents, but learning multiple agents will make you struggle on what you actually need to know. So staying with the agent you already like to play, gives you a higher chance to win games, than playing what’s S tier. Honestly everything should be S tier you are below immortal even.

      thts a very narrow minded take tht i see alot, meta exists for a reason, yes changing agents every 2 seconds is not good, but you are acting like riot switches up the meta every 2 months, when we hv agents like jett raze and omen who hv been meta since release until now, nd going by ur logic, u want someone to reach immortal nd then start learning the actual viable meta agents? after he already wasted time nd effort nd built up bad habits bcz people kept telling him "oH nOthIng maTteRs bFr iMmorTal", not to mention the meta doesnt consist of jst 2 to 3 agents, am pretty sure everyone can find an agent tht is both enjoyable nd strong, nd hey, if they want to climb with freaking harbor then plz let em be, jst dont get surprised when they r taking 3 months to rank up once ultimately leading to them not having fun. yes am aware there r harbor radiants out there.

      @@suungjinu 99% of the players that reached immortal, had 1 main agent they had 1000 of hours into, and 1 sub agent to pick if they didn’t get it. The main thing you should know is how to aim and how to teamwork. Your agent’s abilities is only 10% of the grind, if you think having 11% more chance to win because something is meta, but decreases your rate to learn is worth it. Alr, lets put something on the table here If you would have said that before this episode, i would have been completely agreeing with you. Thing is, this episode is different. Because of a hard reset, elo's like gold, silver or even plat became completely erelevent to look at. In a normal and healthy rank system, you are supposed to fall against people around your mmr/skill level and if you are making big enough of a difference, you will slowly be boosted by the rank system that will push you towards the rank that it thinks you deserve BUT Right now, i have done a total of 34 games and only 3 were actually full gold Other games didn't had smurfs fpr the most part, that would be too easy But instead were people that were in diamond and sometimes higher for more than a full episode but got ranked down and what is funny is that, it is not even because of stats I looked up every players that i could and they ALL had great stats before going down So it means that being gold right now is basically playing with mostly plat/diamonds lobbies and sometimes higher If you are performing well in most your games in gold atm, YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE GOLD BECAUSE YOU ARE LITTERALLY, FOR THE MOST PART, PLAYING 1-2 EVEN SOMETIMES 3 ELO'S HIGHER THAN YOUR RANK Stop to just not see the problems and act like valorant is perfect, it has lots of flaws ESPECIALLY FOR LOW ELO/OCCASIONAL PLAYERS Acting like it's players fault they can't rank up because they do minor mistakes against people that are supposed to be 2 elo's higher is like saying that you should be better than radiants to become imortal, that is complete nonsense If you are high elo, do not talk about low elo unless you actually know what you are talking about! Coaching is normal, but don't blame players for not ranking up when the rank system is litterally broken right now Fuck

I dont think this is the right play, but I think it wouldve been better than the video. Probably depends too much on a 50/50 is the biggest issue with that whereas holding the smoke push wouldve probably been like a 60/40. I wouldve also considered tping out when the reyna blind was thrown but idk if there was enough time to do so. Also one thing to consider was that I wouldve trusted my deadlock to shoot the blind or the reyna

    My problem? I frag 38/8/6 kda on average each game, hardstuck gold, I play with Ascendant players in Ascendant lobbies, guess what, I place 2nd or 3rd in team, sometimes even top fragger of the team. And yet, my team mates are trash when I practically carry them. Such a "fair" ranked system

    Please continue to make such videos. It really helps a lot of potato brains like me. Please do incorporate bad decisions and tell us why. That would be a blessing.

    Loved the video concept, enough to consider making something similar myself. Your decision making has flaws but that doesn't matter because it makes people think critically which is more important. Loved the video, keep it up
