I once again drove down to Portland to see Southern Pacific 4449 running the (mostly) annual Holiday Express in Portland. Enjoy!

I went deep into West Virginia to film perhaps one of the best scenic railroads in the country, Cass Scenic Railroad. I went up to Tacoma last weekend for two reasons: One was to get more Point Defiance footage, the other was this. The test train footage kinda fell through, so this is most of what I got. I wonder if some of these railroad companies pay graffiti artists to decorate their boxcars. It may have started out as vandalism, but some of it is so elaborate and pretty that they've got to be paid.

Well as of May 1st 2023 another day closer to Tacoma rail quitting the hill job to Frederickson pretty soon it'll be Rainier rail out of Centralia and then let's hope that they tear up the rails from Tacoma all the way out to Frederickson and no bike trail

Are the Talgo 6 coaches scrapped?
Yes, or they’re in storage in both Chicago and LA. There was a photo that came out recently of one of the sets being scrapped, and looked like it was in LA (where these two sets were headed), judging by how sunny and warm it looked outside.
Wish they built another kind like in 1998.
