    That's so real I just don't know why someone would go on a diet and restrict themselves if they know that once they come off the diet they will most likely listen to their cravings and make it even worse. Ig we're impatient and want to see results almost immediately and don't really focus on our future selves 😭

    • @hi_huytran
      @hi_huytran 13 днів тому

      Right, no patience these days! I'd also add that sometimes we just take things to extremes. For most things moderation is key and this definitely applies to nutrition!

    • @Paydaye
      @Paydaye 15 днів тому

      @@hi_huytran you were right. potatoes and pasta is a complex carbs The pasta you mainly see at the grocery store has been processed for most of its fiber (for taste reasons) so it doesn't digest as slow as other complex carbs like oatmeal. They are still considered complex though. Also all starches are complex polysaccharides, so rice, pasta, potatoes. Good rule of thumb is looking up if has polysaccharides, which refers to the sugar chains. Also check the fiber, since body cant digest fiber, it slows down digestion as well. (side note yeah the thing about carrots is the vitamin a is said to help with eyes, because of the beta carotene but really helps prevent your eyes from deteriorating as fast due to age.)

    To skip the whole blanching process I throw my stems in the wok with a lil water and a loose lid and steam it till the water is almost evaporated and the stems are cooked. Then I add the leaves let it cook with the lid and the lil water left. When it's done streaming at the waters gone I just start the rest of my stir fry with the ong choy in there already. Heyy Tran! Hope you are doing well. I am 22year old I am lean but I want get little bulky but not so much. I do jump rope daily which still makes me to loose muscle. But I don't know it keeps my mind calm and my body energetic. I don't want to do gym but I want to get bulky with my sports. Can you suggest me a good way and good diet plan?

    • @hi_huytran
      @hi_huytran Місяць тому

      Sure! First off tho, I’m not a certified trainer so what I tell you is just my thoughts. If you want to add muscle, you will need to strength train more and eat more protein. Continue to do jump rope because it’s good for cardio and athleticism. If you don’t want to gym, then I would train calisthenics and resistance bands - push-ups, pulls ups, squats, lunges. These will give you overall size. 4-5x a week. Lastly (and most importantly), eat a ton of more protein. Carbs and veggies at always a must but you’ll need to eat more protein than normal so you can be in a caloric surplus and build lean muscle. Make sure you’re eating 1g protein per pound of bodyweight. That will help build lean muscle. Overall strength train more, 4-5 times a week. Eat a lot more protein. Continue to do cardio like you already have been. Good luck, let me know if you have any other questions!! ✊🏽
