Best Hotel Rewards Program: DON'T PICK WRONG!!
This guy is an advertisement for a crappy program …. Be realistic dude
With where I fly it makes more sense to go for aa status. But part of me wants to not because I hate the naming. What do you mean you have three different levels called platinum
Is that the correct pronunciation of "AEGEAN"?
Do i need to sign up for one of their credit cards in order to be an aadvantage member?
Am I able to use some miles and pay the difference for a flight if I don't have enough miles?
Why not Accor?
So I read you can directly buy miles but when I click on the FAQ, the page times out after a few seconds. So my question is can we still directly buy miles (for poor people who are bad at saving and want to do a trip)
Minicucci? More like Goldstein. This Ashkenazim CEO is a double-crossing rat!
This was exactly the comparison I was looking for thanks!
Yeah, it's a scam.
As someone who only flies first class multiple times a year and D1, getting status is no issue. If you can spend, that’s literally the MQD model. Big spenders will be rewarded. Simple! Don’t like it, go somewhere else!
So delta is just better cheaper to get status and better for same benefits Especially sense all I really care about is maybe silver status which is simple to get with 2 delta cards
My friend.. You shouldn't compare them at all, American is one of the companies that cancel flights for everything, I stopped flying American a long time ago and I switched to Delta and I don't regret anything, and another thing, Delta's customer service leaves far far back to customer service of American
So you can only accrue tiles when purchasing jetblue flights?
I think it goes by how much you spend Like spending $5000 gets you to 50 tiles=mosaic 1
bros eyes look like he saw the magic in Birdbox!
0:44 1 point cents each?
I have skymiles and trying to use them & credit card Delta America Express ti pay the Remainder. They won't allow me to do that. They told me I need enough Skymiles in the full to use them. What is the option of Miles + Cash
Please consider the following before you select your hotel rewards program: IMO, aside from the points systems, the Best Western, Choice Hotels and Wyndham are in a completely different quality category when compared to the others. Night and day experience at the low end, with hit and miss level of quality, which is also important to consider when choosing a Hotel program. The base room look and feel at many Marriot, Hilton and IGH sub-brands of properties are very similar, to the point if you were just standing in one of those rooms, you couldn't tell the difference between brands. For instance, Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn and Holiday Inn Express all have very similar rooms.
Most Best Western's are really nice
Say what? The only two transfer partners are Bilt (which is new since this was posted) and Marriott. No Capital One, no Amex MR, no one else.
Jetblue did partnership with fiji airways too
Delta, always Delta.
I have 189k miles for sell
Marriott bonvoy supporter forever) 🤪
I just use expedia
Is there a conference when travelers get to learn about all this and be in the know? 😊🎉
The issue I have with United status is that there’s no PQP earning bonus for status unlike AA. To me that’s a key motivator for bothering with status is making it easier to re qualify each year
Get a new update with choice hotels and the new card with Wells Fargo. choice hotels might also buy Wyndham
Delta offers upgrades to all classes not just the next available class…
bro literally just read the united airline's page and added no value
It’s useful for people who can’t read (due to vision impairment or disability) and multi-talkers who will listen to this video and clean/work or lazy ppl.
Foreal 😂
I think IHG point value is generally lower than Marriott and more close to Hilton. Hyatt point redemption is definitely better but doesn't give 4th or 5th night free upon point redemption.
How long does gold status last does it go away after a year
Exactly what I was looking for. Great video..thanks.
American Airline is a One World Alliance member not Star Alliance.
this is just a read of the aa website
Lol i only have like 1600 points, I just want discounts on flights😂😂
Hi, are you interested in collaborating? We need articles for hotel membership reviews, introductions to hotel memberships, and other advertising content
Choice is a good choice ha ha. Currently I use Wyndham as primary and Marriott as secondary. I have the Wyndham earner plus credit card. Have been considering switching to choice and getting their credit card as they also use Wells Fargo and citi as transfer partners 1-2 ratio.
I’m a diamond elite member with IHG; I only get 20% discount on points when buying them. 🤷🏻♀️ unless there is a special going
no you can't transfer to AS from amex in the US
@pointsadvisor, the numbers you quote for earning max points, are they based on actual United only flights? Or can a person earn the same amount on a Star Alliance Partner?
Its so straightforward mqm mdm all so much easy 😂
Amasing video!
Not mentioned in this video is the most important reason of all: The sheer number of planes and flights of American means there is more room to re-book you should travel delays become more common. With Alaska's relatively small footprint one could easily be stuck in an airport for quite some time. I've been AS 75K when I lived in Seattle and enjoyed their service back in the early 2000's. Once they acquired Virgin their customer service plummeted. I now live in DFW where the obvious choice is AA and I switched programs. AA has come a long way in delivering their service and product but I have been happy with them so far. I still think AS is a good airline but their primarily 737 fleet is a big turn-off when doing trans cons. And nothing compares to AA's Flagship 777/787 where I can fly nonstop on AA DFW-DUB or LHR.
Hi, I live in Seattle. Do you think AA is better if you live in Seattle?
Can I use my points to book for someone else or only for myself?
You can use them for someone else, however you’ll have to book the flight from your account.
I liked and subscribed from this video.
I’m Exec Platinum on American. How do I get Iberia or Qantas to recognize my status?
Thanks for uploading. I wish I knew this earlier. I’m currently traveling overseas (rn in SE Asia) but my home is Houston. I just signed up today!
When using miles to pay for flights, United for me is much cheaper. Just booked a flight using united - 40k miles. Same flight on Delta - 140k miles. That's a big difference!
A point advisor that has no idea what he's talking about 😂
Super informative. Also, you blinked like two and a half times the entire video.
Oops haha. I use a prompter cause I’m bad at memorizing. I guess I don’t blink when I read 😬
Wyndham gold, love it because it’s easy to collect points when getting gas or doing long road trips when we are on a budget. I then transfer my points to Vacasa, 15,000 points per room . Plus an additional 10% off if using your earners card. That’s my life hack as Vacasa has some beautiful homes like Airbnb !
Sadly, some facts to consider before booking a flight with American Airlines is their crash record, including the first and second deadliest crashes in U.S. History: Flight 191 with 273 FATALITIES, Flight 587 with 265 FATALITIES, Flight 1 with 95 FATALITIES, Flight 4184 with 68, FATALITIES Flight 320 with 65 FATALITIES, Flight 6780 with 30 FATALITIES, Flight 711 with 13 FATALITIES, Flight 383 with 58 FATALITIES, Flight 625 with 37 FATALITIES, Flight 965 with 159 FATALITIES Flight 1420 with 11 FATALITIES. These are the stark facts, which AA employees obviously want to divert attention from, with dishonest statements about any person providing them.
How does this compare with other companies?
