I watched VR troopers as a kid. I enjoyed it. However, I couldn't tell you a single characters name. All i remember is the show having a lot of repeated footage fighting bad guys in vehicles. I think 🤔. The only plot i remember was the main character always talking about how he missed his dad all he taught him. I was hyped when the dad was a manipulated bad guy, and his son and friends needed to save him from the dark side. Total Star Wars vibes. Im going to look up right now if the show exists on dvd online. I've already rewatched every episode of the original mighty morphine power rangers. I'd love to to to revisit VR. Power Rangers outshined them. Ive always wondered what could of have been if Brad was in power rangers and Jason was in VR.

VR Troopers did have a lot of cool concepts and did use a lot of cool footage from other shows... but overall I can see why it didn't catch on the same way Power Rangers did in terms of storytelling, characters.... and toy sales -__-

I mean if JDF was so popular, perhaps he could have led his own show. Honestly, they could have easily made VR Troopers a MMPR spinoff instead of a knockoff. Have Tommy move to a new city and make new friends. Either keep the "Cybertron" motif from the pilot where he's a one man army (Metalder) or give Tommy new teammates (Kaitlyn and JB). Even keep the silly things like the flying car (a gift from Billy) and have Tommy be searching for his missing father.

I remember the very first time I saw Brad after VR Troopers and It was the 9th episode of the 5th season of Step By Step calles "The Wall" where he played the role of the angry boyfriend of Julie Benz (Darla in Buffy TVS). I was hoping to see him in other roles after that but with the advancement of the Internet I was glad I was able to know he landed big voice over roles just like Barbara Goodson that started her work with Harmony Gold doing the voice for kid Goku.

Honestly. I can see him.as the white ranger, but i think he pulls off the VR Trooper soooooo much better

I wished that the entire VR Troopers Series along with Mask Riders, Big Bad Beetleborgs and Mystic Kinights are finally released onto the complete DVD collection or even better on Blu Ray because those series deserved to be released just like past Power Rangers Series.
