    Im sorry about my standpoint here, which is: Serrano, maybe 15 years as a pro sounds good on the card? However have you noted the amateur years of fights for Taylor? As It's the most impressive female athlete's ever! First and foremost l firmly believe nobody can beat her easily, for sure! Chuckle where was Serrano when Katie was furst pro, as lm led to believe that no one would step up to fight her; cos'she was too good! You watch the fight it wont be a walk in the park for both of them, they're both gonna come out battered!! Plus as the card seems(internationally) You never dis count an underdog! Theyre just more hungry, l hope Taylor wins!!!

    We definitely need those other awards for the women's game. Bonmati is a worthy winner but it is getting difficult to compare the quality of the leagues just at the moment. Of course, we can rely on FIFA to be inept and corrupt.

      @@iolandabronzoni Truly, or we will have strikers and attacking midfielders winning the Balon forever! I did not realise this significance until your video. You really suspect FIFA are just corrupt old geezers for whom women's football is something they have to pretend to like, but it's all very scary for them. Fortunately, the sport is advancing regardless of them and will continue to do so.

    I watched this after watching ManU v Arsenal. Arsenal utterly dominated but only one point in the end. I think it is becoming clear that Slegers is at least an improvement on Eidvall. Could it be a weird blessing that he sabotaged our season before he left, so any new manager has a year to control the damage and get up to speed, before a WSL challenge next year? I am standing and clapping for your point 2:30 - 3:30. I am Australian and we had the World Cup in the context of a women's team that was underachieving under a clueless Swedish coach (!): we followed a thrilling win over France with fourth place (losing to Sweden) and then got utterly humiliated at the Olympics. But sadly constructively criticising and discussing the women's game is impossible here: it's either meathead men who come to sledge the players for not being Pele and Maradona, or brainless "everyone tried hard and should get a prize" enthusiasts. It is rare I can find anyone to have a serious talk to about women's football as I can about the men. But it is the sign of a maturing sport and it is with us!

    44% knockout rate isn't considered high on the mens side of boxing, though. For example, shawn Porter has like a 54% knockout rate, and nobody would call him a knockout fighter. Knockouts and power is what entices the casual boxing fan.

      @iolandabronzoni generally speaking it's more biology than anything. But yes I don't disagree that it may result in more knockouts. I saw an interview with her a couple of weeks ago and she 'predicted' that she'd be fighting again in December. Presuming she doesn't lose that, i think she definitely fights next year. Mikaela Mayer just won a title in that same weight class, so a rematch between them would be a big fight and a unification. There's also Lauren Price and a few others as well. This is a fantasy fight for me! I got katie whooping that ass even though claressa is who i want to win. Im sorry but claressa hasnt been in a fight of that magnitude and with a person whos gonna really put that pressure on her. It will be her first time in a real dog fight. Also katie is damn near perfect in every aspect of boxing. She can fight on the outside and she can brawl. She has crazy hand speed too and her understanding of range and timing is fantastic.If they can come to an agreement as far as the weight is concerned cause katie said shes not going past 142 so it can happen then. It will be the biggest fight ever. Along with cecilia vs katie or katie serrano 2.

      @iolandabronzoni Місяць тому

      Totally feel you! Katie is a master in the ring but Claressa is just different! If this fantasy fight ever happens..boxing fans would win either way! And it would be so important for women's boxing (I honestly think it won't happen tho)

      @Jayfinance92 Місяць тому

      @iolandabronzoni Yeah that's why I mentioned the weight agreement is the only issue. I'm a katie fan so I've watched all her important fights. Watch the first persoon fight, total war. watch the chantelle fight, another war. she neutralized jessica McCaskill, rose Volante cindy serrano, Victoria bustos etc. Sheilds hasn't gone to war with anybody like katie did vs persoon. Her vs savannah doesn't compare.

      @iolandabronzoni Yeah womens boxing has been taking off for quite some time now. I respect women who dare to take on fighting sports whether it's ufc or boxing.

      @@Jayfinance92 it’s taking off but still a lot to do! I don’t think women’s boxing is mainstream yet…I have recorded a video I’ll post soon and it’s about that!

    • @Jayfinance92
      @Jayfinance92 Місяць тому

      @iolandabronzoni Well if you guys want more, you have to do more. It's the women that are part of the sport that have to carry the burden of putting on performances that are close to male fights in comparison. Most female fighters do not fight that good as far as boxing and that can be fixed with more dedication to training and getting the fundamentals damn near perfect. Sloppy techniques and bad conditioning makes bad fights. Bad fights equal less people wanting to watch which just adds to what some may already think about women in a male dominated sport already. That's why I like katie. She comes as close to a male as possible.
