I watched this after watching ManU v Arsenal. Arsenal utterly dominated but only one point in the end. I think it is becoming clear that Slegers is at least an improvement on Eidvall. Could it be a weird blessing that he sabotaged our season before he left, so any new manager has a year to control the damage and get up to speed, before a WSL challenge next year? I am standing and clapping for your point 2:30 - 3:30. I am Australian and we had the World Cup in the context of a women's team that was underachieving under a clueless Swedish coach (!): we followed a thrilling win over France with fourth place (losing to Sweden) and then got utterly humiliated at the Olympics. But sadly constructively criticising and discussing the women's game is impossible here: it's either meathead men who come to sledge the players for not being Pele and Maradona, or brainless "everyone tried hard and should get a prize" enthusiasts. It is rare I can find anyone to have a serious talk to about women's football as I can about the men. But it is the sign of a maturing sport and it is with us!
I hear you and appreciate you catching that moment in the video. and thanks for sharing your thoughts! One last updated about the Champions league game..really disappointing that the women’s game against Bayern has been moved from Emirates..
@@iolandabronzoni Agreed. I can understand why they're doing it but very disappointing it could not have been avoided with more fore thought. My only small hope is, we do not have a good history against Bayern at the Emirates (men!) so maybe that curse can be avoided. I just watched Bayern v Freiburg... Arsenal really should win if they're playing well. Watch that Ms Cooney-Cross... on fire lately.
Appoint Renee the head coach, as she is doing well for Arsenal. The woman coach may bring success this season.
@@mikeong2623 she is phenomenal!!! From what I’ve read lately.. Cushing is staying with the MLS so I’m really curious to see what happens now
Thanks for your comment. I am also Arsenal fan. You are very pretty.
