Three minute rounds would definitely help. That would make for more knockouts. But I think it's doing okay right now. Most of the biggest promoters have women signed and are investing in them and if that continues, I think we eventually see real stars and rivalries.
And fans are craving more fights! Im honestly excited for the journey ahead. Which up and coming fighter are you most excited about? I got my eyes on Ellie Scotney 😍
@@iolandabronzoni Ellie Scotney's a really good choice! I would pick Gabriela Fundora. Her brother is a unified world champion and pretty popular, that would help, and she's about to fight to be undisputed champion in a few weeks and she's just like 22 years old.
44% knockout rate isn't considered high on the mens side of boxing, though. For example, shawn Porter has like a 54% knockout rate, and nobody would call him a knockout fighter. Knockouts and power is what entices the casual boxing fan.
@@DCoop-uo2wq Women’s rounds are shorter..so less time for knockouts.. makes a 44% KO rate pretty solid imo. I agree that KO are what really hype up casual fans I mention that in the video
@iolandabronzoni generally speaking it's more biology than anything. But yes I don't disagree that it may result in more knockouts. The argument can be made that because the rounds are shorter in women's boxing you have to be more active because you have less time to step off the gas during a round
It should be mainstream! There’s many talented women especially 154lbs down to the lower division! I’m for it!
FACTSSSSSS!!! Can't wait for the world to catch up and recognize these amazing athletes!
@@iolandabronzoni I’ve seen a few of your vids… I believe I added you on instagram. I like your content 💯
