That lock is nothing a bolt extractor socket will have that off in 3 seconds and two taps

A few tips after doing this for the first time. Use a bottle jack flush up against the pole to get it off instead of banging with a mallet. It was the only way off for me. Use some wd-40 to help get it loose too. If you do not have a floor jack you can use the scissor jack that came with your car to lift the brake back into place. There is a small circle behind the brake rotor where you can lift it up and it won't slip off as easily. If it won't go in after lifting, pull or push on the rotor to align it and it will then slide right into place.

Will it work with Honda ys1 transmission?

I wonder how much did you pay for all those 3 mounts? There was another mount connecting to the bottom mount which I didn't see being replaced? Thanks for the response!

Hey how are the wheel locks holding up in 2024? Thinking about getting these for my 2024 Rav4 Prime

Was wondering about the washers on the ties - should they have gone just below the nut on top, or inside the cavity, as you did? I had a shop do the work, and i think they installed the washers on the top of the wheel arm. They also did not install the plastic cups over the ball joints- missing? How critical are those?

what was the symptom before replacing? My 09 makes squeaking noise over bumps. Took out to inspect the rear strut but they were in good shape. There are a lot of bushing in the rear in this generation. I replaced the sway bar linkages, sway bar bushings. Noise seems a bit die out but still there!

not worth $188 a set of 4 locks with 2 keys . seen alot of the keys split on these locks .

Just did mine at 176000 km. Mine look the same so probably oem parts! Good life though eh. Thanks for the how to.

Upon installation and aligning the tab to slot, I had to loosen the top three bolts to get it align. I used Monroe (Shock/Spring replacement) though, so not sure if that will help anyone.

What size Allen key was it? H4.5 by any chance? Ps: great Aaarcghs! 😂

Just did my left and right upper mounts.. both were in 2 pieces lol

Not sure where you live, but no suspension ever comes apart that easy.
