Replaced My Mazda 5 Rear Engine Mount

2013 Mazda 5 engine vibration and clunk noise, I replaced 3 mounts with Oem Mounts. All uploaded as separate videos. Side engine mount, transmission mount, & rear lower mount.

This clip saved me time and money. I got the part and put it on myself. I did have to take the bracket down off, it was just three bolts. I also had to pry the engine back in place to get the bolt in placed. Thanks so much.

I just spent 2 hours and half doing this. Your video gave me the confidence but my engine moved when I took out the horizontal bolt and it wasn’t lining up anymore. I just about called a mobile mechanic. Eventually I was able to “rock” the engine being held up by a car jack in the center and wack the new mount to line up. Got it in and tightened it. Thank you for your video. I wouldn’t have done it with out it.

Where did you find the repair manual? I haven't had much luck. I can usually find torque specs through a google search, but I would rather have a manual.

How on earth did you back your car on ramps and lift the front on the jack stands???
Or.maybe you.didnt have four jacks and lift the rear later and sat it on the ramps???

Bro I bet you didn't fix the problem. That arm piece that comes out is supposed to have a nut. You're basically threaten the boat through a thin plate with nothing holding it on the other side. I'm pretty sure that's where your problem is. Your Mount look like it was good. I think you're only problem with that mount was it the nut came off. Put a nut on it torque it down and you're good.

The nut appears to be built into the mount

If the bracket bushing is shot you will keep having to replace the mount
