I called it actually. Told everyone at work before I left yesterday that something crazy was gonna happen and the Eagles were gonna destroy the Chiefs. I then proceeded to make a friendly 10$ bet with a coworker and what I should’ve done is bet every last dime I had on DraftKings. Too bad. Chiefs one of the fakest SuperBowl teams, just like the Mavs vs the Celtics and just like the Yankees vs the Dodgers. Overmatched blowouts. The Chiefs weren’t actually a good team this year and we literally had to talk about how a penalty won them the game 15 out of 18 weeks of the season. Not exaggerating. It was every game. Not once or twice a year like Brady would get a call every now and then. Every single game came down to a penalty. Every single one. Like we didn’t notice? Like it wasn’t wasaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond normal? Too bad we couldn’t get a Lions be Eagles Super Bowl, not possible I know, but the AFC was so weak and so sad this year. Bills aren’t a good team either. Ravens are probably best AFC team talent wise but they don’t have coaching or brains so they don’t know what they’re doing. It’s a MESS. This Chiefs team was below average at almost everything possible all year. Fake

Chiefs run defense was ok (not great but Barkley was pretty well held in check), pass defense was pitiful. O line was garbage, and WR's couldn't get seperation until the game was out of reach (against back ups..).

Biz going about it this way may ruin that friendship they had I mean they did interviews this summer worked out together did the grouse grind together he spoke highly of him and had his back 100%. However I get that a guy can give insight and criticize a bit but I feel like biz went a little too far with it and that will tarnish that bond they had. Bedard is the kind of kid that expects the most out of himself and when he screws up he knows and is actively working on it to try and better himself, his game and his team. I mean he doesn’t have much to work with right now but his production is still on par with players like jack hughes, Mathew’s and MacKinnon. I mean he hit 100 points in the same amount of games as Mathews on a team that is 100x worse than Toronto ever was when Mathew’s came into the league. MacKinnon took143 games to hit 100 Hughes took 160 games. Look at the players they are now. I watched him a lot In Regina and he could change the game on his own in seconds. The nhl is obviously a completely different level but I believe if chi gives him a line mate or 2 that is worth something he will flourish. They need to surround him with some legit #1’s not ahlers like donato or kurashev

To be honest, it can also be seen as Biz hopping on the train of national broadcasters calling Bedard out for plays that are typical for a 19 year old forward. Messier earlier in the week and now Biz. They didn’t talk about the board battle Bedard won setup the tying goal in that game because they know criticism of a young star like Bedard will generate views. Bedard’s response was perfectly fine and what you’d expect and the Chicago Twitter account was just having fun with it. Everyone is overreacting to all of this.

Sports fans by and large struggle with nuance, especially if they perceive you as going after someone they're fans of. Biz is right, but with a caveat. He is thinking about how Bedard can contribute the most right now to the team, while the org and coaches are thinking all about how to not limit the offensive ceiling: encouraging him to push his limits, to experiment, to remain hyper creative etc. That has the potential to look a little like selfish hockey. Sorry, but development is more important to Chicago right now than keeping games close. That comes secondary. What should maybe ease everyone's mind, however, is the guarantee that Bedard's developmental priorities will eventually shift to the more complete game that everyone wants
