Hey guys, I haven't uploaded in a while because school sucks. Here's a little tailwater pattern for the dead of summer. I'd recommend using a Davy's knot over an improved clinch when tying this on. Recipe: Hook: U202 #20 scud Body: Peacock Microglint Rib: X-Sm Red Ultra Wire Head: 11/0 Czech Glass Bead Met. Pink Other: Cement

Rabbit Fur Jig

This is a great pattern that van be fished on the fly rod or conventional gear. The jig hook lets the fly ride hook up and adds weight. It can imitate anything from a baifish to a large mayfly. Foam Back Scud
Переглядів 3193 роки тому
This is a great scud pattern for trout. The foam back allows the pattern to sink slowly. I like to tie this pattern behind a heavily weighted egg or stonefly pattern, that way the heavy fly will sink and the scud will flutter behind it in a life-like fashion. Hook: U202 size 14 Shell: Insect brown 2mm craft foam Rib: Small copper wire Thread: Black uni 6/0 Dub: Rainbow sow scud Feelers: Tan hen...

This is a great small nymph/streamer pattern for Autumn. Fish this on a swing or on a nymph rig for trout, smallmouth, or panfish. Although, I really like to tie it in rusty brown, because it looks like a crawfish, you can tie it in any color; white works really well too. Shannon's Minnow
Переглядів 1,2 тис.4 роки тому
This is a great mid-surface minnow fly for bass, especially here in the ozarks. This fly is a substitute for the conventional Yamamoto senko and it is fished sort of the same way. Try it in different colors and sizes, you can even color it with sharpie to your liking. For orders message me at intothenetflycompany@gmail.com Follow me on Instagram @michael_flippin_vancardo
Your video teaching is EXCELLENT! Thank you! This is the closest to Norm's SCHMINNOW that I've watched.
Could you have picked a more annoying music track? Jesusssss it’s bad.
Love the pattern, the soundtrack is annoying.
Thanks for showing how to select and remove from the feather. Most videos skip that, 'just remove a section....'
Terrible guitar playing.
Now that is a cool frog. Looks kind of like a butterball Turkey until you put the front legs on. Thanks for the video.
I like the face of this fly. Is it your design? Very creative. Thanks for the video.
Cool bug. Great idea with the foam. Thanks for the video.
$$$, love it!
Is the action of this fly comparable to standard game changer fly?
It's more like a dragon tail type motion.
That was awesome 😎
A very nice pattern. Looks very simple, but at the same time quite effective! Great work!
Nice and simple with loads of movement……. Thank you!!! 👍🎣
I agree with you!
Amazing video! Your channel seems really cool!! Just subbed too!👍
Good looking fly!
Great looking fly & tutorial BUT I can do without the choice of music.
I enjoyed the music. You make trimming look easy!
It is faux as in fake pronounced like foe not fox just an fyi. Great video I didn't know hobby lobby carried something similar to bucktail. I've been trying to find something like that since all my stores are out of bucktail lures so I have decided to tie my own.
I use that material to tie Gonga's and other pusher style heads.
I like it
We need more videos 💯
Tighten each hair bunch and put a drop of head cement at the hook on each batch. The bug will be very durable which is what you want after spending all the time it takes to do a hair bug. On hair poppers you can use a little Pliobond on the face to firm it up a little for more noise if that is desired. I use buck tail for the tail for durability but some of the synthetics may even be better. I love tying hairbugs and have been doing it for 50yrs 😁
I find that steaming my deer hair flies before cutting makes a world of difference - great vid! Keep up the good work!!
Def a mop fly you can't call it a game changer if it dont articulate.
Killing it lets go fishing
Great vid and can't wait to throw it out for some hungry bass
I really like the Woodglut plans.
Love it!! Will give it a go on the Rio Grande here in NM
Interesting bug, thanks
Excellent Tutorial ...... will give it a Go this Season in MI 🌟🎣🌟
Best craw video I've seen. thanks man. Love the use of Swiss straw
Cool looking!
Nice simple fly, thank you
Nice bro i will try to do it's
I just use the tail fibers for the body and the wing case and legs. I only have to get 5 and that's it.
I do that on smaller sizes, but I like to do it this way on larger sizes to make it bulky and to have the legs be made from the tips of the biots rather then just cutting them off square.
Wers ebedence the fish bite of your make it
Nice! that should work well. I'm going to tie a couple to try out in the spring. Cheers
Could you tie a little bigger for steelhead? Awesome pattern
This was a size 12 nymph hook, and small sized killer caddis glass beads. Using large kcg beads could probably take you up to a size 10 or 8. After that, you might have to switch to larger glass craft beads, and maybe bulk up the body a bit a more by wrapping a yarn underbody and then wrapping the pheasant tail over that.
Nice fly, I love the casualty list at the end....
Cool pattern. I've got tons of seed beads to put to good use. Cheers
Gaining in subs, nice fly
Be a lot better if that weard music was not over riding what you were saying
This music came from a video editing app which was free and non-copyrighted. Most of my newer videos have preferable background music, if you would like me to re-upload this video or redo it entirely I would be happy to whenever I have the time.
@@intothenetflytying5035 I liked the part of the Vedio I watched, but I had to end it, because that music was really getting on my nerves. I can see without question why the music was free and uncopy righted. I tried to watch another one of your video's and had to end it short "sorry". That music really is not helping you out at all. I really do believe you video's would attract more peoples attention without the music. It is really hard to focus on what your saying with the music. They are good vedio's, so drop the music, you don't need it. Another thing that's gets me , I have seen other good fly tiers that are really good, but don't explain what they doing during the video. When there finished. You don't know anymore at the end than you do at the beginning. Like hook size, meterial and etc. This video's are for people to learn from, if the fly tyier does not explain what and why he's doing, how can you learn from them. I like your video's, please keep them coming, just cut the music. I will go back and watch them. I'd like to see more of your video's on tying with deer hair. I hope you don't take this the wrong way, I'm trying to help you not discourage you. GOOD LUCK, in further video's.
Cool video my friend! I just found your channel-- looking forward to checking out some of your other ties. :-)
Класс!👍🤝
SWEET fly!!! Thanks for making this video!!!
Nice to see your channel grow from nothing, you should really get a camera setup and get some action in the waters! Nice fly
Thanks, I'm waiting on that Christmas money for some more equipment
Neat Tie, Thank You
Looks like it will catch fish but until you tie it on the proper articulated shanks it is just a fancy mop fly.
What is the tool you used? I believe you called a hair packer? Could you also use head cement?
Sorry for my late response, yeah the tool I used was a hair packer. The one in the video is a little cheap and it broke on me a little bit ago. I recommend getting Pat Cohen's Fugly Packer; it's a really good piece of equipment. And yes, head cement will work just fine.
What’s the best rod to cast a big heavy streamer like this, keep up the good work
Sorry for the late response, you can throw this on a rod as light as a 6 weight.
