in Italy legacy tournaments all accept proxies except the 4 seasons, my deck is 22€ modern dimir murktide is around 7-800€ and ruby storm is even less and so is goryo and they win a LOT of tournaments

EDH is generally one of if not the most budget formats to play, aside from pauper. According to you, an EDH deck costs $200, but even then you pretty much have access to any archetype at that price point. If you try to play a budget pioneer, modern or legacy deck you limit yourself as to what decks you can play.

You guys are insane, I've been playing magic for like 5-6 year online and with random fake card cubes I'd seen places I've been but I am never fucking buying these stupidly expensive pieces of cardboard.

I would rather go against variant commander decks than play against the same deck in modern or other formats

I've never spent $200 on a commander deck in my life. Most expensive precon I've bought was like $80, and it included planechase. I balk at spending more than 2 bucks a card, and I usually just use basics for my landbase.

I got a chance to try my new Flubs deck last weekend and it was super dumb and super fun. I didn't go full landfall with it, instead I built it for Dragon's Approach. With this build I actually want Flubs' discard trigger to happen sometimes to get extra copies of Approach into the yard. By Thrum or by Dragum, I may not win everytime with this deck, but I'll enjoy it everytime I do so long as I have it.

If you're really set into your sideboard, white borders help you quickly shuffle out your side when getting ready for a major tournament or just reset after a match. Pauper players do this all the time.

People who have built this deck: how essential is it to pick one of the three paths listed in the video? Is a mishmash of all three going to effect power?

This is a good way to explain how Partner works and it's history. I personally play Dimir Artifact deck with Silas Renn and Armix to make good use of artifacts both on the board and in the graveyard. Especially when you discard a card for Armix to either nerf or outright kill a creature, making it easier for Silas to get a hit in, and enabling me to play a Artifact in the graveyard.

I play a soft stax deck. Its main focus is combat win while slowing the game enough to not let storm/combo decks win on the spot.

I saw this as a newbie and thought 200 was obscene, and while 200 gets you a bullet proof deck, I STILL think its crazy and by NO means is it even CLOSE to necessary for casual edh. You can whip up plenty of 35 dollar decks that function just fine.

Honestly these aren't that great. They're way too heavy aren't the easiest to turn and the colour fades super quickly. Not to mention they're rather pricey. The better option is one of the plastic ones

I like white bordering my ravnica shocks. That way they are easy to find when fetching.

Be careful with fork effects, as they can easily lead to infinite card draw. If you have the copy of fury storm target the original, you can loop that until you have seen every card in your deck, which may not be the kind of deck you want to build. I also love ox of agonas in the deck as a hand refill you can dump into the yard and reuse and chump with at will!
