Very good video - thank you! I am wondering - you did a lot of test to optimize ROG Ally X. Yet, I have not seen you play with the curve optimizer and try to undervolt either the GPU or the CPU. Wouldn't this be a good thing to try? Undervolting intel chips for instance bring big gains. And I saw couple of videos that it similarly brought a lot of benefits on AMD APUs. Thoughts? Thanks!

Hey man - thank you very much for this! Excellent video! QQ - I followed your recommendation to the letter - and double checked all the values. I have most of them like you show they should be, but there are some differences. Concretely -> tRFC (ns) is 155.1219 (vs your 113.0667), tRFCsb is 0 (vs your 112) and tREFI (ns) is 2678.78 (vs your 1952.533). I double checked my settings after it again, but everything is right. Can you please advice - is there something I may be doing wrong - any setting I should check? And are these bad? or are these values somehow random and I shouldn't care? I did a quick check for timespy and I get the same score - 3467 as before - with a bit lower GPU score even :/. Thank you!

Sometimes it logs into Windows and shuts down at the slightest thing.I did a clean installation 3 times and sometimes it shuts down before I even install it.

I literally have C4 unpacked at home. After seeing this I will send it back and get QN90D instead since i think it will be better in bright rooms.

I got the C4 and it's a bit dim. It's not dim in the traditional sense where the screen doesn't look bright, but whites are blueish and colors like on neon signs lack that bright punch. To rectify the blue I have to use cinema or filmmaker mode, but then the screen dims even more. Compared to my old 10 year old TV which is much brighter. In really dark scenes the C4 is better because the old TV has artifacts with dark shadows, but in SDR they are very similar but the old TV beats it in brightness. In night scenes obviously the C4 wins because no blooming. I believe the C4 only has 200 nits on a full screen window, next TV will need to be at least 300 nits. My old TV has almost 600 nits because it has backlights. This is in a dim room btw, you will still notice the lack of nits with the whites. Vivid mode brightens the colors but tints the TV very blue.

Downloaded and applied your profile. Everything works out of the box! During benchmarking I did notice power limit throttling. (Maybe because I don’t have a second cpu power cable plugged into the motherboard?). Regardless of that, temps are stable w/in a few degrees vs bouncing from 50-70/90-50 range. Stays at 55-59 now. Same 5528mhz speeds - watts used 90-105 vs 127-212+. FPS stayed the same in all games I play. Well done sir! If you have a suggestion on power limit throttle. Lmk. Cheers!
