In articulation class they have you put a wine cork in between your teeth and overwork your mouth muscles to sound more clear. Once accustomed a bit and removing the cork, one naturally sounds more clear. May be a good warmup exercise before recording. I think there’s an opportunity here for your dictation to improve, and your content is worth it! 👏👏

Why not just make the slow down and sand trap longer?, and make the sand trap on an incline full of soft sand similar to a runaway truck ramp?, either that or cap HP @ 12,000 and upgrade the track accordingly, just my two cents for all it's worth.

The 1,000 foot rule never made sense to me as a response to most of these crashes. The driver usually wasn’t killed because of the length of the race, he was killed by the engine explosion and disintegration of the car. If a top fuel engine explodes it generally does so early not late, long before the end of the run, and the car never reaches terminal velocity.

The Cajun Nationals were run at State Capital Dragway, Baton Rouge, LA - never in New Orleans. The track was owned by Norman "Moose"Pearah. Moose is now diseased. His son ran the track for a while, now I don't know anything about that track anymore. I live in Louisiana but I don't get down that way too much anymore. Retired Drag racer Frank Cook might have more information. He and Moose were close friends. In fact Frank was the #1 qualifier in Top Fuel at the Last Cajun Nationals.

When you’re pushing engines this hard. I feel like they are bound to explode. Like we are pushing 12k hp they are glorified time bombs. The amount of violence that goes on in the 5 seconds of run time these engines have. Is immense.

4 wide is stupid!!! To much track maintenance...the viewer can't watch 4 cars at once. We have to rely on multiple replays to find out what has taken place. Frustrating for the audience. Yeah...there is twice the noise, for the on site crowd...but???? A lot of us don't like it!!! ...me...I won't watch, or support any 4 wide event. I am definitely NOT alone. Just Stop It!! It's dumb. I get that you gotta dabble in different things. But 4 wide is DUMB!!!

Lol. I was at Brainerd talking to Jack on Saturday and a driver came up to Jack and asked him if it has set in that your back driving again And Jack replied it is now but not really on friday was but now (Saturday) it is and have a little butterfly's

I live in charlotte and have been to both. Last year i waited to go to the fall race because of play offs. The 4 wide is good for newby's but not real race fans. The past four years has been hard on all sports. NHRA tickets have gotten pricey and everything is credit only and food and T-shirts are too much. they will not see more people with out bringing cost down some to bring in new race fans. I was hoping to get rid of 4 wide all together. i hope spring race is not 4 wide too. 4 wide back in the day was just a gimmick to get people out to the races back then. Bring back the showdown of funny against the Rails. That was cool and i was there in Bristol.

I'm from Australia 🇦🇺 never liked the 4 wide idea. But.....why not have 2 Top fuller's in 2 lanes and 2 Funny cars in the 2 lanes next door. Then when those sessions are completed. Have 2 Pro stockers in 2 lanes & 2 Pro Stock Bike in the other 2 lanes. Just an idea 💡

The only problem with 4 wide racing is that it doesn't suck enough , and it has NO PLACE in the countdown.. just saying...

Thanks for the news MM! nice work. Super cool news for Jack and team Force! anxious to hear what the rest of the team is doing. 4 wide...I HATE it. It's the only races I don't watch all year. Never been a fan, never will be.

It's nice to see the progress you've made since the beginning of the 2024 racing season. You're more openly accepted by some Pro's now. It's nice to see. They're relaxed and smiling during your time with them. You have their attention and it appears that they're comfortable in your presence. You're dedication and willingness to keep getting better at this is paying off.

4 wide is a rip off for being there in person. Ends to soon and you can't follow all of it.

I think its best we dont ever turn back to the quarter mile for the top 2 fuel classes. A lot of tracks cannot extend their safety areas to accommodate the extra 320 feet, especially the tracks built right next to the airports. I think that if anything on those tracks were to be extended, it be the sand pits and another net. Its a shame it took up until Scott's horrible wreck for people to realize that it was too dangerous to run a quarter mile. We shouldve shortened the track in 2000 but no. Its complete BS that we lost Scott in that way and im glad we went down to 1000 feet, i just wish we had done so a lot sooner.

All I follow is Drag and Drive and no prep drag racing. I used to go to the US Nationals every year. Last time was 2018. And I started in 1974.

To the people saying “NO” and “stupid” or “bad for tv” is the reason why NHRA isn’t doing well. Why not support this? It creates excitement for the playoffs. Sure could NHRA and fox do a better job with broadcasting….yes…same with NASCAR. Everyone has the same problem. Support what you’re a fan of, and buy your “one ticket” for the year and STFU

One of the problems I see with 4-wide during count downs is track maintenance. Keeping on top of two lane oil downs is hard enough, four lanes could cost a team.

As far as the countdown goes I would say yes it’s an interesting idea but with that said I want more details on how to grow NHRA instead of this.

4 wide racing in person might be exciting. But to try and watch on tv is rather difficult. Fox needs to do a better job promoting the race events and times.

I do not like the four wide racing. It goes too fast and it’s not entertaining specially if you have to watch it on TV it’s not as long stick to what you have the fans want a good drag race like the old drag racing and really NHR it’s all about money for you and the owner of the track. Yeah the trucks need to make money but You got tracked out here that has been open for a very long time and NHRA just totally ignores them will not give them a good racing. Why not give them some professional races I know a track it’s been out since 1963 then they have spent a lot of money upgrading and improving and NHR still will not give them anational meet and give them a divisional meeting and then they take half of that away and then you get tracks it’s brand new that come in and they NHR up and give them a national event with professionals. I’m sorry there’s something wrong with that picture. It sucks.

The 4 Wide is not as interesting on TV because it is too congested to follow for a 3 second race. Maybe cool when you're at the race. Pitiful on television.

Great news for Jack Beckman! I'm old school, don't like the 4 wide racing. But NHRA runs the show. I guess we will have to fine out how it goes next season.

They need the 1/4 mile back and longer run-offs... I can't believe they haven't come up with a material that would slow the vehicle, staged netting like an aircraft carrier
