I hadn't thought of that being a parallel before. There's lots of parallels like that in Trials & Tribulations, and I thought about mentioning them, but I didn't mention them because I didn't feel like they were concrete enough. I did think of Turnabout Time Traveler for the Wedding Bouquet scene though. Ultimately didn't count it as it was too easy to write off as typical Maya shenanigans.

​@@nickolasobjectionlolstuff2837 Maybe I look too much into it, but the Turnabout Time Traveler felt like a little hint to me( and arguably it wasn't the only hint throuout the SOJ), with the whole theme of this case while both Phoenix, and Maya would discuss about the topic of marriage, how Maya teased him that he should take notes about showing vulnebarities to capture woman's heart, the bouquete scene, groom risking his own life to save his bride because of quote on quote by "power of love"

Someone else mentioned Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright too! I'm not familiar with that game though, what are some of the most notable moments in that game?

I'm not sure what to make of the card in general. Please Capcom bring it back. Personally, I feel like the feelings between Phoenix and Maya started to crystalize in Farewell, My Turnabout. That's the one that really puts their relationship to the test, and the one where Phoenix openly admits to Edgeworth and Pearl that Maya is the person closest to him, and then the next case in the timeline, The Stolen Turnabout, has SEVERAL potentially romantic moments. So yes, I think the card could absolutely be considered a moment. It's not exactly concrete though, and I didn't want this video to be a bunch of theorizing, (though it did get kinda theoryey anyways for the "wrong idea" part) I wanted it to be sort of a bullet point list of fairly strong evidence that suggests there's something more between them.

@@nickolasobjectionlolstuff2837 apparently in one of short stories writing by Shu Takumi for the magazine Dreamage in 2005-2006 Franziska was trying to return the card to Phoenix only to Maya immediately snatching it out of embarrassment just before Phoenix could even take a look

There are a lot of parallels between Phoenix and Maya's relationship and actual romantic couples in Trials & Tribulations, and there's an argument to be made that Phoenix going crazy and eating the poison necklace to protect Dahlia because he was "madly in love with her" is set up for him to do the same thing for Maya later in the game, when he goes crazy and tries to cross the burning bridge. Looking at it from a narrative perspective, Narumayo is absolutely a narratively satisfying outcome to Trials & Tribulations. Trials & Tribulations is absolutely the Narumayo game, although they never truly commit to it. Thinking on it, Trials & Tribulations doesn't really commit to a lot of things... Like Maya saying she wants nothing to do with the Fey Clan.

@@nickolasobjectionlolstuff2837 Well Maya says she wants to leave the Fey clan for emotional stakes. Her whole arc in the game is about how she is putting off actually trying to become the master of her village and take her mother's place. And that fits in with what Morgan plotted to do, so her saying that she wants to abandon her heritage is there to make her commitment at the end more impactful. I think.

I avoided mentioning anything from the first game because Maya was still 17 there. Those are good signs of how platonically close they became over the course of the first game though.

You forgot some very choice promo poster images... as well as the PL vs PW scene(s) {I know some will claim that the crossover isn't canon, but still...}. I think there's some other choice moments from the mangas, but I can't think of them right now.
