No matter how good your video is, without proper SEO, keyword research, and correct titles, descriptions, and tags, you won't stand out from your competitors. I have no idea, but based on what I’ve been watching on UA-cam, most people just get rid of simple stuff like stuff in the trunk and the rear seats and cut out the carpet. I went all out gutted the entire trunk space got interior everything including most of the wiring I even got rid of my dash , I got rid of my sunroof and my two front windows, I also got the entire AC system and heat system all events. Everything‘s gone. Under the hood there’s no more AC compressor AC condenser no more AC lines., I replaced the radiator with an aluminum radiator. That’s thicker new radiator fans with trout lighter., I also got rid of the windshield washer bottle. There is no more vacuum pump or check valve, no more under tray for plastic intake, I will be installing a colder intake that’s about to come in. I’m bout to do LS coils, I did a complete exhaust, for the exhaust everything is stainless steel new headers, mid pipe and muffler, i’m about to upgrade my starter to a second GEN starter, back to interior there is no more speakers or unnecessary computers or unnecessary wiring, I still need to remove Sound denting material, install a roll cage, install bucket seats removal steering wheel, still need to install fire suppression system, reroute battery to the trunk, install cold air intake, of course, as far as how much weight it lost I did not measure how much the car weighed to begin with, but based on my research, the actual car weight according to Google was 3150 pounds, I think so far I removed 300 to 500 pounds from the car but what I will do once the car is drivable is take it to a truckstop and just weigh it under scales, I am confused a little bit as to how much horsepower the six speed manual Mazda RX8 have I seen 250hp from one of the magazine articles back when 2004 Mazda RX8 came out comparing it to RX7 with 253hp but u think it’s way off, there’s allot of information that it’s only 215hps so maybe it’s wheel horse power

    If you just hooked the battery up there’s an entire process that the ecu takes to learn the idle. If the car hasn’t been run or driven for an extended amount of time on the road that’s the reason why the idle is not there. I would also recommend not using that intake if it doesn’t have the proper “air strainer/honey Combe splitter before the maf sensor” this will be a continued problem for idle particularly when the car comes to a stop at traffic lights or stop signs. Never rev a rotary at startup above 3-4k as the internal of the engine are not warmed up yet. If you have to keep the throttle on to keep it running that’s fine just wait till the junk oem gauge nears the middle mark. Do all the proper maintenance before hand plugs wires and clean the maf sensor. Without a cat you may also get a funky idle due to the o2 sensors not meeting the ecu threshold

    • @mazdarx8diy38
      @mazdarx8diy38 10 днів тому

      Thank you so much for your advice at this point my Mazda said idles good but with the original equipment, i’m just showing what I just went through. Maybe somebody else can get some help from it., I have to teach it how to idle again the first time I did it it did not help nothing even though everything has worked correctly, i’m talking about pumping brakes 20 times watching the oil gauge needle move to the right to the left. First time that worked just idol did not learn itself for some reason., after checking everything over, I tried to do it again and the second time it worked it learned idle, I just ordered a cold air intake and I plan to install it once it arrives. I really do hope that this will not affect my idol., i’m not sure how to deal with the honeycomb issue. Maybe this is something I can install on the inside modify the colder take a little bit before the master flow sensor.

    get O2 sensors . I finally fixed mine! and that's what did it and mine would barely start and idle bad and sound weird too similar symptoms to this. what codes do you get? the last problem was weird idle when i was driving i had to pull over and get towed and it was just a little filter that got stuck in the throttle body from my cold air intake.

    So it would be better to just not have one? Entirely? And thus is how to bypass that? Also your funny as hell yo the cross member dilemma was funny as hell to me. Sorry i have my 2008 toyta rav 4 pulled apart on one side and the other im stuck at the hub bearing the fucker WILL NOT MOVE im 230lbs and been a roofer my whole life and grew up on a farm so im really strong for a woman. I even tried useing a jack on a breaker bar and jacked that bitch up and it wont budge. Idk wtf to do at this point. Ive been soaking and hoping it breaks it free but sfter 6 hours giving ir my all i had to just stop... before i break something either on me or my truck. 😢

I am surprised how stuck it is, they should not be this stuck, but what ever it is try using an impact like Hercules Ultra it’s 1500lbs break away, also you might need to try heat, good luck

      I did FINALLY GRT THAT BITCH OFF. Just the front 30mm 12 Pont bolt on the front of the hub took 10 minutes with a serious blow torch and then i took a candle and melted it on there and as it cooled it sucked in the wax and a 5 ft breaker bar and thet thing was off. Now. The back bolts are so seized and the cv axel boot is directly in the back of these nuts on the back of the hub so I can barky fit any tools in there and to grt a good grip on those bolts? It's not happening. I might have to take off the whole control arm. At this point I'm just so tired 😫 might be less time and less work to do so. And thank you so much for replying to me!! Most people never get back to me or if they do its a month after I commented and by then I either give up or got it done 😅 anyways... yeah all of this is just after I JUST put in a new valve body litterally 3 days before this hub seized and my truck can't move now it's THAT SEIZED and it gave ZERO WARNING. Zero. No break grinding, no smells, no sounds, nothing I did have it off and replaced the cv axel about a year ago but I had got a job and barky had time to shower let alone work on my truck so I took it to this place down the street where I could walk to and from to drop off my truck and they were supposed to replace both the front hub bearing and I know now thet they were never even touched. I'm not going to let anyone ever touch any of my vehicles again. I always do my own work but having no time just really got me stuck. Lesson learned I guess 😔 thanks again and also if you have any tips at all I judt subed and I'll turn on my notifications for you. Nobody else got that 😊

      Sounds like a good idea I would J swap it or put BMW N54 inline 6 it’s basically like a Toyota Supra engine but lighter, upgradable to 700hp with stock internals

      I agree, but I don’t have the extra money for one so I just have to work with what I got and I enjoyed the fact that there’s going to be some fabrication involved in my built because the way I see it anything I will do in the future will involve that as well

    What header is this? If it’s not a racing beat or Manzo (think thats how you spell it) I wouldn’t even attempt to install. Just speaking from experience anything else is a waste of time and they may require removing the lower rear studs to fit.

    You dont need to reprogram. The unit/ connectors so probably clean them connectors and always Check your fluid dont add it just because the icon comes up or tge overflow will end up ok the power steering connecters

      @btkchaosreaperj.c7642 Місяць тому

      Possibly its usually the connectors especially if you added Coolant and the overflow(Which is aimed towards it for some retarded reason) Covered and messed up the connectors. You can clean the connectors and hope it works if not hope to find a new one for 100$ hopefully. It happened to my old Rx8 because mechanic added too much Your solenoid links are not available by the way

    Nine would do that too then I would just step on gas. Release and then step on gas again 2 or 3 times and it would accelerate faster. Got my engine installed from my other Rx8 I had that got totalled while it a s parked by a hit and drive driver. Never found out who hit it but I took that engine to my new one I bought and this engine doesn't do the slow acceptation even tho the bank 1 low code is still there

      Yes, you’re right but technically my car is 20 years old now basically a classic so yes there’s lots of things that it needs to make it good again it’s not it’s not a brand new car but Rotary experience it’s special. It’s not like they sell new rotary cars anymore, so I think if you love Rotary engines done it’s worth all the headaches that come with them

      Mine is the S2 it's not as problematic. And issues ice got is mainly cos it's 15 years of age. It hasn't even ever flooded on me and that's shutting it off whist cold then starting it back up again. U can't drive them like a granny all the time. They're meant to be driven not crawled. Basic maintenance on them is no difference than any other just you need to do it a little bit more often. Plus I've seen Audis far worse to work on. TT for example you need to remove the wishbones etc so you can replace the downpipe.

      I can’t remember, but what I will tell you is that if it’s flooded, you need to flood it and then it will start sometimes it’s best to just let it sit a little bit too. It helps but only if you know your vehicle starts, but if it hasn’t started in a while, and you just don’t know history about this vehicle. It might be another issue.

    From what I have read on the forums the stock fans are pretty full proof, they were designed to maximize cooling due to the temperatures from the rotory engine. I made another post on an older video you had. If you want better cooling replace you oil cooler thermostats each cooler has them on the bottom edge. Rotary performance sells them and a few other companies.

    • @mazdarx8diy38
      @mazdarx8diy38 Місяць тому

      I also think Mazda knew what they were doing when designing those fans after all the reputation is on the line, but also these cars were not sold as performance cars and mainly for the streets so depending on the climate where you live, it might be hotter or cooler like where I live. It’s mid range. I’m in South Carolina. Summers are hot while winters are nice, there’s no snow here and it’s not freezing weather but here’s the thing the stock fans work well with stock radiator. If you want to install racing radiator you will need to find a way to make those stock fans work, but I decided to use aluminum raider with aluminum shroud to keep the aftermarket fans, the aluminum shroud that I’m using specifically designed for those fans, you will not be able to install actual Mazda fans but of course anything is possible with some modification, but it won’t be an easy task, also these fans that I’m installing are lower profile and based on what I’ve seen, they do some good cooking. I don’t know how they compare, but they’re not that bad either.

    Sorry i was late to this party, yes your right oil will get into the intake from the vented line at the oil filler neck. As mentioned you have to get a catch can and then cap off the end on the rubber intake boot. I level my oil halfway on the dipstick between High and low mark to prevent any overflow, if I don’t it blows right out my small filter from the catch tank. Usually it’s 3.5 to 4 quarts of oil if you drop it when it’s good and hot. Preventive modifications to focus on with your Rx8. Regularly flushing coolant, trans/diff oil 75/90 synthetic. Upgraded LS coils, ngk plugs only As far as your intake goes getting a drop in K&N air filter is the best way to go for a smoother idle. Even with aftermarket intakes it does effect idle at stop lights . Depending on your wallet… for longevity reasons. Aluminum radiator, delete your cat (use spark plug Fowler (drilled out to fool ecu) mine comes and goes. Oil metering pump lines should be checked and updated if leaking, you can make your own I’ll try to find the site I purchased everything from. Sohn adapter works nice for two reasons, fresh oil! you can always see when you need to add oil and not have to check your oil from the pan. If you live in a hot climate or only drive the car in the summer you can look into replacing your oil thermostats that are on each oil cooler. The engines operative systems were meant to run warmer for emissions purposes. If your in 85-100 degree weather your stock setup will be at or around 220-230 water temps and that’s due to the oil being so hot while the thermostats don’t open until at or around those temps. HKS makes updated ones that also fit Mitsubishi lancers they open at 165-175, since changing them my car will run at 195-200 during the hottest days in the summer. Beware it will run very cool if it is cold out 150-160 water temps with colder weather 50-60’s as always make sure she’s warm before you get pedal happy. I run versatune ecu flashing software it’s great for turning your idle down and oil metering monitoring.

      You’re definitely not late to the party. The party is ongoing and will be ongoing for a very long time. Thank you so much for your contribution to the channel with very insightful comment. This will not only help me but many other owners I like. My Mazda RX 8 project is ongoing. I agree with everything you’re saying currently I’m making videos of me doing some of those things that you have mentioned., every day I try to do something weather permitting, just today I have replaced my exhaust manifold with a header, tomorrow I plan to install my mid pipe, one of my motor mounts fell apart, I would not known that if it wasn’t for me the motor amount and discovering that it’s broken, I just bought couple more Motor mounts, this car will be driven in South Carolina. We have good weather here. It doesn’t get really too cold or too hot., I am installing an aluminum racing radiator, also I will be installing an oil cooler, and and AEM cold air intake I deleted my AC system because I am turning this car into a track car, this silver Mazda say it’s a six speed manual transmission, I also have a green one which is an automatic, mainly my automatic will be kept stock it does have a mid pipe, in South Carolina, there’s no state inspection, but both of these cars will be track cars, and when I say, I will keep the car stock it will still get necessary upgrades to make the car reliable, just the car that I make as my track car I will put a roll cage in it racing seats and much much more. Also will make it lose some weight. I plan to have lots of fun with it. I just turned 43 years old but trying to remember my 20s and that’s what I wanted to do just did not have the money to now it’s time to get back to my roots.
