wow, didn't expect this to actually be helpful to my neurodivergent self. while i currently feel no need for another routine this may really help with thinking about my projects/priorities in a more conscious way and actually find motivation to do first things first

Love this so much (and feel very much called out haha) 🥰 What would you do with routines that you want to start in addition to your projects (I currently have very few routines and struggle with wanting to start a morning, night, meal prep and weekly reset routine all at once)?

Pipeline projects! That's a huge take! Apparently I am one of those people with very low overwhelm threshold and I need to intentionally cut down, or else I just randomly blow everything up every now and then. But saying no to things you genuinely want is scary, we don;t want them to disappear into thin air. Moving them to the pipeline list is a nice solution! P.S. I read GTD many years ago and remember only to write everything down so that your brain is not occupied with the to-do list all the time. But it is like you said - loads of lists I nervously check at random with no understanding what to do next. The grocery list analogy just made me realize how ineffective this is despite everything's written down. Time to set some systems not just goals

I kind of hate smart goals- it feels arbitrary and fake to make my general life projects so specific and measurable, and I end up not excited about what I'm doing. When I set up general strategies for what I'm doing on a regular basis I make waay more progress.

have you heard the idea of "A Year of ...?" it's essentially taking a concept, for example curiosity, and framing the year as a Year of Trying New Things" (which includes doing things you already do, in a new way). regularly check-in with yourself: Is there a new opportunity here? Can i do this a different way? --at any decision point. which choice will give me a new experience, perspective, or feeling? i2025 is going to be a year of NOT pushing. i'm going to try to ease my grip on "push energy."

I really enjoyed this! I've noticed the more planning and structure I put around a goal the less likely I am to achieve it. It's almost like the detailed planning tricks my brain into thinking I've achieved it, or that I'm further along into the goal than I really am! Plus I'm also a rebel and I don't like 'being told what to do'! Happy new year! 🎊

Actually inspired me to do some lazy exercise while watching this episode xx I believe some famous person attributed their success to the habit of always asking themselves 'How can I have both?' but I don't remember who it was 😭Someone we tend to speculate about for sure, like Bill Gates or Steve Jobs etc. I was so impressed by the simplicity of this question that I indeed 'lived-with' it for a while. Then life happenned and it kinda faded away. Thanks for the reminder to bring it back!

I love when you repeat some ideas in the exact same words, like mantras (e.g.,"realisations are something that happens to you"), they get stuck in my brain and can then pop up when needed 🎉 The most unexpected part was separating our problems from ourselves. I am used to journaling in 'what can I do to solve this' mode (it actually helped me with some small things, but I get paralyzed and can only whine when something serious comes up), so this is kinda tricky. I've watched the episode about systems, I'll rewatch it again but I am still not sure how to separate myself from MY system and the solutions that are supposed to be MINE too 🤔🤔🤔

Couldn't agree more especially the forcing insights and letting the realization come to you, journaling is really a fun process of whispering to yourself about the weaknesses we need to work on and also the gains we got to embrace it as well and both of them should feel fun not a burden, Amazing content like always really thank you so much for being here 😊

Have you ever felt like this method takes away all your control? I like the idea, but if I don't think through a problem, I cant wind up with a plan. If I dont have a plan I feel like Im basically lost or life is happening to me and that makes me very anxious.

Realisation: Find the deep breathing or meditation technique that works for you. It will be different for each person. That means you are alone with you and your own thoughts and feelings and nothing else. You don't interact with the thought or feeling, you only acknowledge it's there. The things that come up maybe uncomfortable, but it makes you realise what you truly have to address or what you really want to make yourself a better person - to yourself - and therefore to others.

Honestly I dreaded that these would be heartbreaking, but they are pretty bearable. Just - ok, pretty fair, need to remember that :) thank you!! 🙏🏻🌸 I actually quit my job and I still have an endless to-do list, but that's okay :) I think, just like in realization #1, we need to determine a REALISTIC expectation on how much we're willing to get done TODAY, not trying to do everything at once.

I just recently saw a video about a type of vision boards called a "becoming" board, in which you create a vision board and then as the year goes on, you replace the photos with ones you've taken yourself of these things in in your life. This way you can actually the parts of your life "becoming" like what you've envisioned; so like, if you have a Pinterest photo of a meal prep station, then you can set up your own meal prep, take a photo, and replace the Pinterest one with the one from your life. I'm very excited to try this out next year, and then really be able to compare what my vision looks like at the beginning and the end of the practice. I think the video was by Brain Body Alliance, and while I haven't watched many of her videos, this one popped up while I was just looking for a background video and instead of doing my chores I wound up watching through it twice 😂

Love the idea of choosing instead of knowing. I am working on my personal relationships right now and I feel I need to try different things even though I can't predict what would work. I also use your 'go slow don't stop' mantra in different areas of life, but mostly to get myself out of bed. It really helps. Thank you for that!! 🎉❤
