Thank you Timothy Frye. This was an excellent presentation to have your insights on Russia Politics & the Ukraine War. I traveled to Russia several times in the early 2000's when Russia was open to the West. I took the Trans-Siberian Railroad from Vladivostok to Moscow, starting in Siberia. It was fascinating to see the differences in each region of the Federation. Life in Siberia was being updated, museums built of the early deportees and their settlements, churches reconstructed, walls of churches with frescos restored. The Louvre had provided plaster casts of sculptures in their collection for a Museum in Moscow. This allowed the Russian population access to fine art when several countries were not accepting the Russian passport. It's a fascinating country. They see themselves as EMPIRE not Russian people. Good luck with your continued research in Russia gauging the Russian population temperament about current affairs.

I had not seen this particular interview when it first aired, and of course when this aired Biden was still running for reelection. It would be equally interesting to see her comments and thoughts in relation to the dangers of trump as he is now facing a very formidable opponent in Kamala Harris. Equally relevant is the focus on the dangers we may face if (or actually when) he would face a loss to her. Also important is to hear the dangers she may site from trump’s base or worse, members of our Gov’t who may share trump’s pathology as it relates to malignant narcissism.

Thank you for this program. I have watched quite a few shows with Dr. Bandy Lee and others and this is so informative. Knowing there are people like Dr. Lee and Michael Lemire working on educating us about this political violence risk has really helped me to reduce my anxiety. Some very good tips here for what I can do too.

I blame Trump (and his political cohorts) Trump has convinced his MAGA people that the other side is evil, and some media repeats it. I can't always blame the average person stuck in their right-wing echo chambers-confirmation bias at work. Look at it this way: We didn't blame the (nearly) entire German population for buying the propoganda from Hitler. Propoganda works, unfortunately. (I'm not camparing Trump to Hitler, but comparing their use of propoganda.) We just need Trumpism gone. It's taken a huge toll. But how about a little understanding toward our fellow Americans. Consider addressing comments on social media specifically toward the politicians (and nefarious players) hell bent on winning for power, money, hate...or because their pathological narcissism makes them dangerously ill suited for office. This was a fantastic discussion with some very valuable information on the effectiveness of attempting to persuade trump followers with facts and reason (won't be successful).

I agree with Dr. Lee. After repeated videos, social posts, TV News Stories focused on DJT, and his photos or video clips, whether positive or negative, just spread the contagion. I know it will get worse as we lead up to the election. I will be voting,but for the sake of my own mental health, I'm removing social media apps from my phone and have stopped watching TV news other than the local news some mornings. It's just too much. I sure hope the mental health experts get more coverage. They deserve it and the American public does too!

The GOP made a deal with the Iranian government to not release the American hostages until after Reagan was elected in exchange for weapons and financial aid. The very day Reagan was elected, within hours, the hostages were released. That election was stolen from the rightful candidate, President Carter. I was a white woman who was included in the moniker " Welfare Queen." It still stings. Not one word about the deadbeat dads who failed to pay court ordered child support. I wondered at the time how much more hurtful the term was for women of color. I have not forgiven Reagan for that, nor for his wicked economic policies. I was and remain a follower of Jesus.
