There are huge leaks saying that G6 will just be a multiverse crossover franchise between at least G4 and 5 (not too sure about G1 and 2 since I believe Hasbro lost the rights to those generations) But if this is where G6 is going, I’m gonna hate it. Not just because why do we need a multiverse series for MLP of all things? But more importantly, it shows that Hasbro still isn’t listening to their fans as most of the fandom agrees that they should’ve left G4 where it did in 2019, yet are still trying to cash in on our nostalgia. I just want good storytelling with fun characters. That’s why I fell in love with G4 and G5 at first with the movie. Is that so hard to ask for, Hasbro? 😔

It is too bad, G5 could have been identical or superior to G4 in terms of quality, however, they pushed out one of the worst, most soulles and generic shows ever, followed by an even lesser pre-eminent UA-cam-exclusive shit, and preceded by a magnificent movie. The best course of action would be to revive Lauren Faust, and wholly renew the brand, with G6 being a complete reboot of MLP, on the same or better writing level as G4, with, at most, references to it. It's time to put an end to dangling G4's corpse in front of our eyes if nothing is being done with the connection. Or, perhaps a continuation of G4, after The Last Problem, with an EG ending, which is what I desire, but most likely won't be occuring. I hope G5 will rot in the garbage disposal, right where it belongs.

Sir, how *dare you*. I loved Hanazuki! I remember being so excited when it got a short before the MLP movie. Though I'm not surprised it didn't get more traction since it was really just a way for Hasbro to test run animators and writers for G4 of MLP. You'll see a lot of the same staff on both.

I have been enjoying the G5 comic's a lot they have really made me enjoy the character and world of the generation. I do hope that G5 will stay and grow stronger!

I really don’t want to see these characters go to waste. They all have so much potential and some neat dynamics that if given the time and right writing, they could be super memorable.

Well as a person who grew up watching friendship is magic and how's also doing the same thing with g5 i am pretty sure that g5 isn't canceled ❤❤😢😢🎉🎉 and I am both a g5 fan and defender ❤❤❤❤❤❤ plus why would they start making g6 after 3 years of g5 🤨😐 and tell your tale will continue next year and will have more seasons I'm pretty sure ❤❤

I just dont like they built strongly on "it continues in G4 universe" but at same time changing about how any magical aspect worked, I would not mind "spectral" alicorn state Sunny got, I even liked it was not permanent solid change to her, if it had to happen, I would prefer she would get that reward later or not at all, showing time of super power leaders is gone in new era, but well, dragons work nothing like G4 had, pegasi dont do weather, I guess, unicorns DO weather, I guess, earthponies unlocked literal food duplication glitch they actively use for free (not like it drains their "mana" or whatever), worst was splitting it to two totally different shows, I seen some episodes of what was on YT cartoon and deemet it "ye, it is kiddier version of thing, I will pass" (there were snails having war with racoon with catapults after all, other show has nothing like that at all), seen few episodes, liked halloween one too, but never got back to watch it whole, may do so some day, if it will not disappear, I assumed it isnt same continuity as 3D animated one but apparently it is, no idea how two go chronologically with one and other, 3D animated one just ends by literally presenting new villain after they dealt with previous one, with quite morbid way of supposed death, i guess, but not checking if she died so Opaline could return any day easily, I guess, supposed new canon of Celestia and Luna be assholes on Opaline and yet never warning anyone they were assholes to other alicors is also questionable choice at best, I prefer to see G4 separated, no this G5 new lore to added, as it dont align in my head, but for G5 be G4 canon in some way adding comics to mix., I have no idea if G4or G5 ones are anyhow canon to shows.. as far I know none events from comics were ever referred to in shows themselves and even community isnt sure how they stand as far I know

During the first few issues of the g5 works' I found them to be more exciting than what we were being given with MYM and TYT

I remember that Hasbro planned to end G4 in 2013, but eventually continued it because of it's popularity and the success of Equestria Girls movie. Well end MLP was also thought to be dead after Twialicorn thing

I hope that Hasbro will negotiate with Discovery about Copyrights, and eventually will renew G5, but with having Rights for G4 for now, will use the maximum potential of G5, making new better content from 2025 to 2029, that will even maybe include Equestria Girls? Like, imagine if next year Hasbro will suddenly announce G5 Equestria Girls

From what I've heard Hasbro appears to be ending their relationship with IDW comics due to their colossal management failures. I'm going to make a guess that after the new year MLP is going to another comic publisher. As for animated series, I hope Hasbro sticks with Boulder Media. The Canadian animation house that makes TYT is just wrecking G5 in the long run with poorly written junk that is just milking the franchise. I wouldn't be surprised if they are the same people that are riding on the coattails of MLP with Wild Manes. (I'm too lazy to look. Sigh...)

I would not consider Hawk Nightwing a reliable source. I'm an ex supporter of his. All he does is treat g5 like its infallible and lambast all the critics as haters and G4 purists. His subscribers also routinely harass people like Star Strike just for criticizing g5. His defense videos also "conveniently" left out the parts where critics like Master Code and Mad Munchkin praised G5 in many areas. He's basically just Zaid Magenta 2.0 he can't stand opinions that aren't his own.

Kind of sucks that G5, had to go out that way. I think the G5 comics are going to, either it's going to be something big (like maybe the legion of doom returning) or something simple and clean. I kinda had an kinda insane idea for a G5 story involving the real Grogar, the legion of doom (maybe Sombra returns) and the actual afterlife, but I could just rework it into the lore of G6.

G5 ending would be a massive failure of G5 as it would have a shorter lifespan than G3. Whoever was behind the story and overall plan of releasing it as disjointed Movie, MYM and TYT should had been fired. It has to be a coherent single show with clear canon, not Pony Life nonsense.

i think with a cast so big it's impossible to give them all focus ,even the pets aside from angel were moved aside in later seasons (the owl completely disappeared) but that's why comics and quality fan content are great... some characters like Celestia , Luna and Cadence are imporant but we really don't know thaaat much about them from the show alone. Twilight's old friends could've made more appearances with her. as for Babs ,i honestly disliked her in the show because of the stupidly conveyed message and making the CMCs look like "bullies" when they were just trying to stand up for themselves while babs did not get any repercussions for what she did ,she knows what it's like to be bullied and that does not excuse her bullying. BUT she is very likable and sounds mature in the comics , i wish the show could've presented her in that way too.

This was an awesome comic, I really liked getting a look back at Shining Armor and Cadence past and how they meet each other. It was fun getting to see the story from both characters points of view really made the story interesting. I do wish we did get Mega Guys night of D&D with Shining join Discord and the boys for a game. You got to love the trials Shining did manly the musical number. Awesome video, i can't wait tell the next :)

I mean not everyone can claim they have five forms (season one, normal, Nightmare Moon, Nightmare Moon with glowing eyes and non-pointy teeth, and smoke😂). She’s my favorite character in the series.

Yes and I will not forget what he did to the former Princess of Crystal who is the very aura of Princess Cadence, without forgetting her relationship as a Student of the Kingdom of Crystal He had a carnal love with Radiant Hope which helped him see things more clearly, but unfortunately the evil side of the shadows were too strong for him, so they totally overwhelmed him. She is a Great vilain 😊

Okay i want to find an old point and click game. Its about some guy trying to find an orb or something and bring it back to celestia. And the guy is a human. I saw once 2 guys play it on youtube but i cant for the love of god remember the name. It has a bad ending where you become cadance thats all i know from the lil bit of lets play i saw years ago. The only thing I wished for was some 1 on 1 episodes with her and a mane 6 member that isn't Twilight. There was always someone else with them. Yea there were episodes where she hung out with most of them but we never saw her truely connect with one of them in a 1 on 1 situation. Atleast from what I remember, it has been a while
