hey you were really entertaining, but i think you got your science a bit wrong. i do think your science was a bit off though. do take what i say with a grain of salt. i don't have a degree (yet). you got the car part and proton part right. clarifications: you should mention that a positively charged hydrogen atom is the same thing as a proton and hydrogen and proton are almost interchangeable in this situation you should mention that the strong force is relevant here. protons repel each other, until they get close enough that another force, which only works at very close distances, the strong nuclear force, kicks in. this force overcome s the repulsion charge force from 2 protons, and binds together the atomic nucleus corrections: "since the bonding of two protons is needed for helium” not quite. helium does have 2 protons, but helium is not simply created by 2 protons bonding. in the diagrams you show of helium, you ignore the neutrons in this situation. it’s a multi step process involving the weak nuclear force, hydrogens releasing positrons, gamma rays, neutrinos, etc etc. this multi step process is the fusion, and converts mass into the energy that powers the sun. a large amount of the power comes from this part in the process. proton -> neutron + positron -> positron + electron = matter + antimatter annihilation -> energy. this part of the process creates a deuterium (hydrogen isotope with an extra neutron). it takes 2 more parts of the process to create the helium you showed in the diagram, with 2 hydrogens and 2 neutrons. “[helium], which helps power the sun, mind you,” yes, technically in some other fusion reactions with things like carbon, nitrogen, and helium, the helium is used as a fuel for the sun. but the majority (99%) of the energy comes from the creation OF the helium in these fusion reactions. technically correct at best, but misleading, and wrong at worst. “ but two positives naturally hate each other, it's extremely rare for them to actually form a bond. (i get iif you did just use this term to mean destroy the sun quickly, that’s why this is at the end). ok that was the actual scientific part which is my skillset. The part where you connected quantum tunneling to portals lost me entirely. quantum tunneling is when a tiny particle, due to the wave particle duality, is slowed down to stop (by the coloumb force), but due to the wave nature, has peaks and troughs, and if it’s amplitude is high enough to withstand the opposing coloumb force, it goes through the coloumb force and makes it to the safety of the strong nuclear force region. i have no idea how this relates to transporting a person through a portal, but that’s some sci fi stuff that i dunno. your video was pretty fun though, and i don’t mean to come off as harsh. ur vtuber avatar looks so silly with a man voice and a big chest, and i loved ur editing.

well what you create with the portal gun is a wormhole and quantum tuneling has not a lot to do with warmholes. A quantum taneling device sounds cooler than a wormhole generator. but even then a wormhole is the bending of space time in which you exist so you would just be confined to the space time grid no matter what. so nothing would happen to you as long as the portal fissles out. and that's probably why there's a failsafe on the portals to close if they are moved.

I am no physicist but it was my limited understanding that quantum tunneling was something related to all of your atoms and any given objects atoms having and impossible low chance to just "miss" each other as none of them are a "solid" thing (we are more than 99% space by volume) I would guess the probabilistic nature of sub atomic particles also implies theres a chance an object "jumps" another and if they a ALL (each neutron proton and electron) "jumped" a given set of other atoms (say a wall) you would just "pass" through Where am i going with this: this means the portal gun should let you walk through walls not teleport/portal around that would be on the realm of wormholes
