    The stud mark you placed, did you end up not using it because according to your meausre it was not necessary?

    Great video, quick question though. Am I fully autistic or did you use a level to make a mark at the crease of the wall and ceiling? Why use the level? I'm probably missing something

      You’re not missing someone, it was fairly unnecessary, anything with a straight edge would work.

    Black fixtures, white curtains? Cheap curtains? They're not drawn to see how they hang! For quality, thick curtains the rod should be wider! They actually look a mess and narration very poor by an amateur

    Are there not studs on every window? Wouldn't the stud make the best anchor point?

    • @littleimprovements
      @littleimprovements 4 місяці тому

      Stud makes best sense! Depends on where the stud framing is in your house. If that’s what is of most interest, find the studs first and work with those locations. Thanks for watching!

      I guess you CAN, if you’d like to. Personally, I would make sure I used a table saw for very precise cuts for the board. But at that point, you could figure out if to do true shaker cabinet doors. Also, a reasonable priced option is to “reface” kitchen cabinets doors. You can do some googling on refacing. It’s much cheaper than new cabinets. Thank you!

    Hello. I watched your video. I manufacture and install curtains for all kinds of home offices in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. mechanical curtains, tulle curtains, fabric curtains, manufacturing and sewing. what I want to ask ; How are curtains sold in the United States, are they bought or can you give me advice? Hi there. These are purchased at IKEA, not sure if there are IKEA’s in Turkey, but they are a home owner consumer store. Buyers can buy all the parts to install including the sown fabric curtains and either install them themselves or pay someone to do it.

    What if you put one bracket on and then tape the level on the rod and then just put the other bracket on the other end and then when the rod is level mark the brackets position. Remove rod. Replace bracket, mark holes (some brackets can't be installed while the rod is in) drill holes and it should be level?
