Nice 😊 content and try to include the Africa sounds on the background
Sincere thanks for one of the most informative videos I have viewed on a support trailer layout, many thanks.
Great design and it fantastic to learn first hand about the individual components. Which awning company provides the lift mechanism? I haven't see it before and would like to know more.
Another great video Jason.
My family and I are planning a trip for September next year. In your opinion, how are the tracks around Moremi and Kwai. Did you ever get stuck towing your Bush Lapa? Would you recommend taking sand tracks? Just love watching you tow your Bush Lapa everywhere with your family.
Hi Sue, that's great, Sep is a good time of year to travel. It will be very dry still so that chances of getting stuck is very small. Its only very sandy roads that might catch you out but yes take sand tracks and let your tyres down to an acceptable pressure and you should be fine. We haven't got stuck yet but I'm sure the day will come LOL
Very nice, well done! I see you have a Smartcap Canopy, why not mounting it on the inside on 1 of the side doors? When opening it up, it will have a nice angle to it, similar to OEM. But will the signal go through the door? I know Starlink is illegal in SA, but does it work in SA, does it have good coverage?
Thanks very much! Moving to the door would mean it wouldn't work while driving, it also cannot go through the door if it was mounted on the inside. It works very well on the roof and all the new dishes from starlink are flat mounted now. I only use it when I'm outside of SA for travel but I think it wont be long before it comes to SA.
Long time guys where have you been 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
working to make money so we can travel 😂
Lions at 21:46 beautiful big cats.
They are amazing!
I enjoyed the episode. I cant wait for another make it a bit longer. I also love your vehicle. Watching here in Botswana
Thanks very much!
This series has E.P.I.C written all over it.. Can't wait to see what unfolds during the rest of the trip. Loving it 👌👌
Thank you so much!
Epic Adventure 💪🏻
Thank you!
Looked like a great trip. The view is incredible. The lions, wow.
Thanks! It really was awesome!
Well done bozza ❤

Great episode guys 👏👏
Thanks so much!
Awesome guys! Thanks again for sharing your amazing experiences!
Thanks for watching!
Great to see another adventure - epic lion sighting and excellent footage capturing the intensity of their gaze! Can't wait for the next episode...
Thanks so much and really appreciate your comment 🙌🏻
Another fantastic episode guy's & girl's, great to see you back on the road! 🙌🏼 Really looking forward to the whole series as this is a trip we would love to do, Mabua, Magotho & Nxai pans!
Thanks very much for the comment and happy we can share our adventures 🙌🏻 it was a great trip and can’t wait to get the next episode out 🙌🏻
Heck, in the 90’s and 00’s it was so open and informal…
Have you got an aftermarket transmission cooler added, yet?
Hi Gavin, no I didn't and haven't had any problems or signs of overheating.
Jay again epic episode 👊
Thanks so much!
When are you doing the review on your V6 wildtrack since letting go of the raptor?
I will do one soon, I just havent had time yet and im still waiting for a few more bits of kit to be fitted and then I'll do a walk around / review!
Can't wait for the next episode!
Thanks so much!
Please make an effort to pronounce 'Botswana' correctly. It comes across as disrespectful when it's mispronounced, especially since many visitors, including Europeans, say it properly. As a South African, I'm sure you can do the same. Please.
Not sure where it was being mispronounced!? 🤔
The very beginning at 0:05 seconds.
I always make an effort to pronounce everything correctly and I certainly don’t think I said Botswana incorrectly at the point you are referring to. We put a lot of effort into these episodes and indirectly promoting Botswana to others so it might be a good idea to share our content instead of looking for fault.
You must be joking 😂 That's called "expression"... nothing wrong with the pronunciation and certainly nothing wrong with showing the excitement in his voice to be traveling into Bots'wana'.
@@4x4xFunnell The pronunciation in wrong. I know Setswana. My mom ke motswana. Please don't ague.
We had lions next to our tent at that exact campsite on Mabuasehube pan!
Amazing experiences at Mabua!
Great to have a video out again, awesome. How's the new Ford towing in that soft sand.
Thanks so much! It was very good! The low down power helped a lot 💪🏼
Love the raptor seat covers, Do yo usell them?
Thanks! They were made by Takla Products
Love ur channel! I am originally from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 but now in UK we are watching your great content and it makes us feel back home thank you Epic Africa keep it up!!✅🥂🔥
thanks so much!
Busy buying a raptor. Fuel economy is definitely a concern but I wouldn't be towing much or adding a canopy/extra gear again. Have a conqueror compact trailer about 1 ton loaded, we dont do any overlanding or extreme remote trips. Furthest is the JHB to Kruger towing really. Do you recon fuel econ would be fine or drastically more that what im getting now at 13.5 when towing with my single turbo 2l ranger? Hoping to get at least 16
Yes I think the raptor will be fine for your application but you can expect to see around 18L/100KM when towing, maybe even more. Around town mine would sit between 14 and 15L per 100
Good day i enjoyed this episode here in Botswana. You went when the bush was nice and green this is great footage. Love this.
Glad you enjoyed it
Oh my word the babies playing ❤❤❤ what a sighting !
It was an amazing sighting! Very lucky :)
Very nice. What time of the year was this?
Thanks very much, it was in January of this year.
EPIC A. What 4 activities you do when you come to a National or Game Reserve, other than doing the Golden One which is RELAXING?
Thanks very much, just things like card or board games and yes lots of relaxing!
Very proud 🇧🇼🇧🇼thank you Epic Africa And Tuli wilderness this is Magical...
Thanks Kennedy! Fantastic food as always and happy we can showcase it a bit!
Awesome video! Definitely need to book a few nights there! The leopard sighting was magical! Looking forward to your next adventure!
Thanks for watching! Tuli has delivered every time we have been so you wont be disappointed.
The chefs seem to be well on top of their game. The food looks incredible....
Thanks so much! The food is always so good!
I've been waiting for this video for a long time - thank you very much 🙂! The anticipation for January/February 2026 is increasing enormously 😎! What incredible leopard footage 😱😻!
Thanks so much and sorry for the long wait! That time of year is amazing, the yellow flowers are next level!
Can you self drive? Nice video
Thanks so much! No you cant self drive, but you wouldn't really want to, the rangers are so good and the open game viewer is amazing.
So amazing Man
Thanks so much!
Sorry I have read it’s a diesel one. I am one of your followers and I like your content keep pushing more . Thanks you
Are you using a ford ranger raptor here ?
Vehicle looks awesome.Did you loose any vehicle warranties and are you able to provide me with list of mods and contacts so I may do exact same build.
Thanks for the message, yes happy to help! Can you drop me an email and I’ll send you all the info you need. Jason@ikamper.co.za
How do you book your campsites in Botswana? We are looking to do a similar trip next year!
I would recommend using ultimate routes, they can do all the booking for you and have great knowledge when it comes to routes and the camps.
Mike Platt owns/builds Aloha estate. He is a very well known fraudster from SA that ran away early 2000s . Anyone associated with him shouldn’t be trusted. Anyone that has worked for him has just survived or been robbed! The homes look great! Hats off to the guys that actually build them! But I will never support this place! The world is how it is because of guys like that! Money over morals!
I don’t know Mike so can’t comment on that but I do know the owners of the house we stayed in and they are fantastic people that should be supported and not punished for someone else’s actions. This person you talk off is in no way involved with this place.
Wow love ur new bakkie broer and nice family that's very awesome keep us posted with this nice adventure road trips love it man well done
Thanks so much!
Is this ethical?
They were part of a rescue so yes. Just the same as you can have an experience with a cheetah at a cat rescue place
Woah this is so amazing! Not only do I love the video, I always listen to ABBA's songs when whe drive to Kgalagadi😍
Thank you so much!!
what were the reasons behind the change of trailer? I’m looking for a camper trailer for the off-road adventures with wife and small son. I reached you reviewing the Metalian Maxi and it was quite convincing (btw great review also that one!!). I’m in love with the conqueror 440 (quite similar to this one actually) but after your review of the Metalian I started to doubt if maybe the maxi would be better option (for lighter and smaller) for off-roading. Now I watch you reviewing this one and again starting to rethink again 🤪 I would appreciate your comparison between both trailers and what made you change. Thanks!! Great video as always!!
Thanks very much for the comment. The main reason we changed to the Miskruier is our family of 4. It just became a bit squashed trying to have a good nights sleep in a RTT so this was the next best thing. I think as a family of 3 it will be easier to make the Maxi work. Metalian make a fantastic trailer to a high standard, one of the best you can buy in SA so I don't think you will go wrong if you buy one. I believe in them so much that even my shop in PMB has become a dealer and sell them. Bush Lapa wont give us a dealership yet because we are to close to another dealer LOL
@@EpicAfrica thanks for your feedback. How different to tow these trialers are? Specially off-road. I like a lot the Maxi, but in Europe, the price difference between the Maxi and the Conqueror 440 (which is similar to the bushlaka one) is very small. Weight and dimensions are not that similar. Thanks !!
There wasnt much difference between the Maxi and the Bush Lapa, they tow much the same. I would just say that with the Maxi you can see a bit more when reversing and have to be less careful on the trail (Just because its smaller)
@@EpicAfrica thanks for the feedback. How much the Bush Lapa weights?
Brilliant review - learnt so much. Could do with your knowledge (and your shop) up here in Kenya. Looking at a trailer for two of us, with the comforts and equipment level. Just been to inspect some friends Sundowner EVO 2 which is amazing product and only one in Kenya. But this was a very good sales pitch for Bushlappa I have to say.
Patiently waiting for ne next episode
Nice view and place sir...
