Beautiful! I just bought a 78 Fj80 a month ago. I have the same seats (no headrest) but I do not have the kick out rear windows . Bummed about that. I'll be working on mine for a couple years before it'll look half this good!!

Awesome vehicle!!!!! Beautiful and really nice restoration job. Those rear heaters work great. My ole FJ would get soo warm inside during the Winter that I could wear shorts and a T-Shirt to drive in. I too had a '78 and wish I still had it. I also owned a '77. Unfortunately both vehicles got totaled, no fault of my own.

Beautiful. I have this same year and color code. I am just starting on the restoration and have watched this and your other videos a few times as inspiration. I know you sold this FJ40, but please keep these videos up as they will serve and inspiration and encouragement as I slowly work away.

Nice '78. Enjoyed the video. I also have a '78, same olive color. Bought it new in '78. 62,000 original miles. Got a cosmetic face lift and some upgraded mechanicals about 10 years ago. It gets to sit in the garage while the 2 4Runners and the FJ Cruiser sit under the carports.

What was the top speed? I have a ‘77 FJ45
