I absolutely love the Cowsills! Saw them in concert a few months ago with Susan, Bob, and Paul. They were absolutely fantastic and sounded great. If you ever get a chance to see them, live do it. Such a tragedy about the siblings that have passed away. Especially Barry. Great tribute! Cheers 🍻
Barry was an amazing artist. His oldest brother Bill said Barry was a natural bass player and always new what to do and how to best serve the song. He was also an amazing songwriter. Bob and all the Cowsill brothers spoke of his qualities so did Susan. Sad Barry was lost because of Katrina. In 2005 as he planned on rehab he was still a young man and had so many productive year’s ahead of him. RIP Barry Cowsill.
Such a talented group and such a tragic story in many ways. I never knew about the solo material. “Another Was A Brother” is very Stonesy! Great stuff! Thanks for the head’s up, Robert!
I saw a very good documentary on the life and times of the Cowsills, and learned a lot I didn't know. I also heard their many of their latest concert tour recordings and they are doing a great job. With them I doubt we would have The Partridge Family
Thanks for sharing this. It was tragic what happened to Barry. Some good tunes here. The first one reminds me a little bit of Lowell George from Little Feat.
The Cowsill’s story is basically a sad one. The fact that they continued to make such great and happy music is a testament to their fortitude. As far as the loud music, I was primarily concerned about headphone users. I don’t use them myself but it sounded loud after the soft background music I had playing in the video.

Barry during Cowsills years definitely had a cool unique voice. His part on Hair shows his range. Was hoping to meet him one day.😢😢
Im friends with Barry’s nephew, Bill’s son Del.
Very cool, Rich!
I didn't know Barry Cowsill had suffered such a sorry fate. The music "loud"?? It didn't hurt my ears a bit!
