She was a brilliant villain.
I like that nod to Drake not being his real name
Nathan Morgan doesn’t have the same ring to it.
@@jetnipatteeravithayapinyo2468 tell me about it.

Damn, this scene hits very hard.
Bruh for real I love Sam and and all but they shouldn’t have pulled out of thin air
Well sam was made just for uncharted 4 and that sucks coz it makes plotholes but just for the sake of the "buthurt fanboys including me" i came up with a theory.maybe Marlowe didnt see the file all way through maybe she didnt see that nate has a brother named sam maybe she left the file and moved to the picture of elena so that she breaks nate mentally at all angles you know by mentioning all nate's close people and friends. She maybe didnt want to waste anymore time on nate's bio i dont know but yeah it seems weird i mean marlowe would definitely mention sam but the thing is that at the time they didnt think of adding a brother
What’s the plothole exactly? Sam was thought to be dead after the prison shooting in Uncharted 4. So even if Marlow DID somehow know about Samuel, why would she need to bring it up? He’s been dead for so long now.
Or maybe she didn’t even know about Samuel because it was evident in U4 that the prison wanted to keep him being alive still in prison a secret, so that his brother won’t rescue him. Sam literally says he tried to send a letter out to Nate in secret, but he was stopped because the prison wanted to hide him til he basically died on his own.
Plus the fact that Sam was kicked out of St.Francis Boys Home a lot so maybe there’s not much on him there either.
"Uncharted" should be 2 different & separate timelines.
Timeline 1: (Amy Hennig, etc.) "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune" & its direct sequel"Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception." "Uncharted: Golden Abyss" (PSVita) not considered canon but also in yellow titles. "Drake" in both titles. Bright, yellow color titles, classical, action-adventure Indiana Jones and The Mummy/The Mummy Returns styles. Nate doesn't have a brother or daughter in this timeline. His ring is destroyed. Nate & Sully have a father-son like relationship. Chloe and Charlie Cutter only seem to be working with Nate and Sully for the last 4 years between UDF & U3. Nate & Chloe are not a couple & U3 never mentions their past relationship. That's why she disappears with Cutter after the bus scene. It ignores U2 events & the characters never mention any events from U2. Chloe mentions "last time they went looking for a lost city things got more than a little dicey," Nate responds, "Yeah, but this time we have the upper hand, look, Drake only had half the clues....." Nate says "Drake" he doesn't say anything about U2 events. He means a different expedition they did between UDF and U3 regarding Francis Drake & the ring. Chloe is also not willing to leave behind an injured Charlie Cutter and helps the team carry him to the bus. She tells Nate that the mission is too dangerous and not worth it and her and Cutter "bow out." This is very different from her radical behavior in U2. Nate tells Elena at the airport that he almost lost her before. In U3, he means the helicopter crash in UDF. He almost lost her twice: in UDF by helicopter crash & explosion in U2. Characters act older, wiser, mature. softer tones.
Timeline 2: (Bruce Straley & Neil Druckmann version) "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves," "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," & "Uncharted: Lost Legacy." "Thief" or "Thieves" in the title. Orange & Red colors in titles. Red star Soviet Rhino tanks and trucks are featured in U2. Rhino tanks are featured more in U2 & U4. Militaristic style. Dark tones, darker colors, dark story, dark filter. Nate has a brother and daughter in this timeline. Nate's ring is not destroyed because their daughter Cassie finds it in her parents belongings in U4. It sits next to the decoder. Chloe is willing to leave behind an injured Jeff to Zoran Lazarovech. She easily turns traitor. Nate comes to rescue her on the train and Chloe shows no gratitude. She is still angry that Nate chose to stay behind with Jeff & Elena. Characters are de-aged, immature, younger, more naive, dress different, tone is different, rougher, some characters act irrational. There are small homages/callbacks/references to the other timeline. There is a wide unexplained gap in between UDF and U2 that doesn't explain how or why Nate and Elena don't end up together in the end of UDF & how & why he ends up with Chloe instead. Make no sense. It's not a direct sequel. It's a 2nd game made. U2 is a remake/reboot or alternative 2nd timeline to UDF & U4 is a reboot/remake alternative 2nd timeline to U3. The movie "Sliding Doors" comes to mind. Younger Nate in U3 looks completely different from U4 younger Nate. Chloe is more willing to help or join Nate on expeditions in U2, U4, & U:LL. 2 different separate timelines.
Hope this clears up any confusion.
MY MOST FAVORITE VILLIAN EVER!
Rain Bond And this being the same actress who played one of the wicked stepsisters in The Slipper and the Rose.
it's Nathan Morgan
Elena never found out about his true last name until Uncharted 4
You called
Arthur Morgan
Imagine if she's actually right about Victor...
We did hear he crossed alot of people in the past before
Yeah which was always a key to piece to his character because when it came down to Nate, sully developed a connection to which he could never cross Nate out… but only Nate lol
People like her exist in real life. I’ve met people like her and I’m a victim of people like her

3. Marlowe
@@BellDemon1987Lazervic is u underrated!
Why do i love her 😂
This scene seems to imply Sam was made up for Uncharted 4. He is never seen, or mentioned, in any of the first three games -- and the flashbacks take place _before_ Sam supposedly died during their prison escape.
Nevertheless, I love the franchise -- and U3 is my favorite!
U4 flashbacks - Nate's age 13
U3 flashbacks - Nate's age 15
Nevertheless, Sam is an awesome character, and a great addition to the series. The "true name" matter injects just enough room for undiscovered mysteries surrounding Nathan. Sam of course could have been mentioned more clearly, but then we would have been deprived from one major twist in U4.
@@scouzer21 Actually, Nate was 14 in the flashback. They stated this in the France Jungle chapter where they exchanged words. We're not too sure how old he was during Uncharted 4's flashback sequence.
@@Demowan you mean plot hole
They should of kept amy hennigs script for 4 which made sense how sam would've been introduced and nate finding out there brothers unfortunately she got screwed imo
My Favourite Scene in the Game.
This scene right here is why Uncharted 4's story is contradicting at its finest. You mean to tell me that Marlowe knows everything about Nates's story just to play mind games with him but nowhere did she mention that Nate had a brother... EVER! it would've made more sense if she said
"And what about your brother...Samuel...locked up in a prison back in Panama..." Imagine the twist that could've been...but nope Just go ahead and insert Sam out of nowhere in a story where he doesn't fit at all as a random plot device. Bad character development
Basically, it doesn't make sense to imagine that Marlowe doesn't know about Sam's existence at all. She must have read that he had a brother.
But it makes sense to imagine that she couldn't find anything about what they have done in Panama with Rafe. And if she hasn't, she couldn't know for sure if Sam was dead and how he died, or if Sam was living his life somewhere, being perfectly fine. It makes sense to insist on his mother's death and his father surrendering him, because she knows it has to be a painful memory. Including Sam too only makes sense if she knows that he has indeed died, but if she doesn't, it can make sense that she prefered not to say his name.
To me, this is the only explanation that can somewhat works
She doesn’t even mention EVERYTHING here either so it definitely still fits with the storyline. You realize all she said was his mother committed suicide, and dad dumped him into a boys home? Did she say what he did after that? No. She was basically just giving herself background info on Nate until she met him at 15 years old. Sam was hardly relevant in this convo and even then he’s presumed dead and had all his records wiped while he was in jail so he can be punished for Vargas murder. It makes sense that she wouldn’t mention that part because again she’s not talking about Nathan’s whole story she’s basically just saying how he ended up in a catholic school and eventually out on the streets where she found him
What’s the plothole exactly? Sam was thought to be dead after the prison shooting in Uncharted 4. So even if Marlow DID somehow know about Samuel, why would she need to bring it up? He’s been dead for so long now.
Or maybe she didn’t even know about Samuel because it was evident in U4 that the prison wanted to keep him being alive still in prison a secret, so that his brother won’t rescue him. Plus the fact that Sam was kicked out of St.Francis Boys Home a lot so maybe there’s not much on him there either.
What is the point in mentioning him anyways? She already pulled the “ur mom literally committed suicide and your father left you, oh and I can hurt your girlfriend if you don’t listen” Elena was enough for Nate. She doesn’t need to go “your brother who died lols in a prison that’s in the middle of nowhere and is only known because of a random treasure from 15+ years ago.” Like wow what important information.
She doesn’t need to say every piece of info you fools. She’s not interviewing Nate for a job lol. She just needs to say the bare minimum info to get him to think she DOES know everything.
He is dead dumbass and he isnt even in the records because he ran away from the catherdal that nate was raised in
Sam is in a prison in the middle of no where in the middle of a nowhere country that's only notable point of interest being that it housed an obscure clue to an obscure treasure 15+ years ago. He has a false name by the prison and because no one actually gives a shit about the prison no one actually wants to get inside and figure out what happened 15 years prior to figure out that Sam was actually barely saved, given a different name, and put in a cell to rot.
Nathan cares, but that still doesn't mean he alone can justify getting disguised to do a long term investigation inside the prison to figure out if the guy who was shot twice in the back and fell 20 yards is really dead or not. That's why when villain lady did all her research she couldn't find anything either there's simply nothing and I doubt she'd be down for the long term investigation when all that's in t for her is a little black mail that may not even mean anything considering Nathan never mentions the guy.
All I'm saying is...I buy this. She mentions she's knows Nate by bringing up his early childhood and the fact he had a different name at birth, then she changes to what's her name as a threat to someone he cares about, then she changes to sully who's directly involved. It's believable and in all actuallyity I guarantee half of her schtick is just that...schtick. she might sound like she knows a lot but that's the point she just needs to make Nate feel that way. After all her goal is to get information from nate, not learn everything about him. And looking at how quickly Nate becomes "non-essential" when sully is spotted across town shows that she really didn't care much about Nathan to begin with.
IKR. What’s the plothole exactly? Sam was thought to be dead after the prison shooting in Uncharted 4. So even if Marlow DID somehow know about Samuel, why would she need to bring it up? He’s been dead for so long now.

@@Sadaaaaf Sam being dead would make Marlow bring him up even more as she could threaten Nate his living loved ones ending up like him. The fact she has information on his parents and that Sam is the older brother means it's a glaring plot hole she wouldn't have information on him.
@redaxer2908 Sam wouldnt be in the records because he ran away from the place nate was raised in
yeah and there is no mention of Sam what so ever was he just made up for Uncharted 4???
RKroft96 but there was a mention of his real name...
I know, right? I love Uncharted 4, but where is Sam the whole time Nate is growing up? We never see him and he is never mentioned by _anyone_ -- and this is _before_ he was supposedly "dead".
It does seem like they literally pulled him out of nowhere for U4.
Because Nate didn't wanna bring him up because he was haunted and traumatized by his "death"

It's all so dickensian. Ha ha ha.
Mother commits suicide!? wait what?
She had an illness as stated in uncharted 4 as well as being abused most likely by her husband so maybe she saw suicide as the only option as to not put the family into debt with medical expenses? I could be wrong
Its when someone kills themself
does anyone know the soundtrack of this cutscene?
