I think elena is the perfect female videogame character
She is and Emily Rose makes Elena so believable and life like
This is one of my fav scenes of all uncharted games. I got very emotional when Nate lay on Elena’s lap. The music that played was so beautiful as well. I love them so much ❤️

Not exactly hated him. She was fed up with his antics for sure, but she always loved him a lot. More so than Nate did, in the beginning. Thing is, he wasn't ready to live a life of a family man and away from hunting; he was always a high risk loving loner.
She saw what he could be, their rushed into a marriage, but marriage needs them to settle down, and Drake, more or less, jumped off that train.
She hates his life choices and actions not him. She always cared deeply about him and doesn't want to lose him in a situation where he might die
I know they have an Uncharted movie coming out and I know it’s far fetched but I wonder if they have plans on having Elena in it
Well story wise they can’t cuz she met him in drakes deception which was way after the time the movie is going to be

Elena wont be in it but chloe will. Its weird cause they have seens like the ballroom one from the 4th game but instead of sam dressing as a waiter to get the cross its sully the movie also has the cargo thing from deception so idk what there doing

Well, it's very likely Nate was apologizing for breaking up with her, but it's the lines "I like the way you think ...etc" that I find a bit confusing.

Well in 4 he mentions "I have done this too many times" when he is searching for Averys treasure. So maybe he couldn't leave his past behind and kept doing dangerous adventures.
It's heavily implied that Nate and Elena were engaged between Uncharted 2 and 3, but Nate's obsessive love for treasure hunting caused he and Elena to split up. Elena wanted a more professionally lived life, but Nate wasn't quite ready to give up treasure hunting. You see a continuation of this in Uncharted 4, where Nate is dissatisfied with his suburban life, and Elena almost leaves him for lying to her about Avery's treasure.
@@lotus1117 It's been a little while since I've played Drake's Deception, but I think he's trying to say that's one of the reasons why he loves her. There's obviously the backstory of their engagement between Drake's Fortune and Among Thieves, and it's fair to assume that they didn't go through with it because Nate was still too obsessed with treasure hunting and the perilous adventures it got him into. But in this scene, he's reaffirming to Elena in the best way he can (seeing that a difficulty communicating deeper emotions is a trait of Nathan's) that he really does love her despite what some of his actions may have suggested. Elena, having known Nate for what I believe is years (almost 3 full games from the player's perspective), already knows of his occasional inability to express how he's really feeling and acknowledges what he's trying to say to her. This simple and understated exchange not only gives us a look into the complicated state of Nate and Elena's relationship at the moment, but also shows us how deeply Nate and Elena understand and love each other despite those complications.
It's a fantastic, bitter-sweet scene that communicates a lot with very brief and subtle dialogue, which encourages the audience to try and more deeply understand the characters, evolving them from 1-dimensional genre tropes to 3-dimensional, believable human beings. Especially considering that the story is about to kick into super high-gear with all of the stunning spectacle and exciting set pieces we all want from the Uncharted games, giving us such an understated and intimate moment with the characters in a sort of calm before the storm really adds to the tension of the following scenes as we know what's truly at stake--the lives of people the story has allowed us to care about and get genuinely invested in.
At least, that's my interpretation of it.
@@ItsDylanHarding dude exactly. I played this so much as a kid and never full understood this scene and what it meant. But replaying it as an adult and going through so much in terms of a romantic relationship I started to cry at this moment because I knew exactly everything Nate wanted to say but couldn't and Elena understanding it completely.
and the reason it hits so hard is bc it's so quiet and understated, because that's how those moments are, not some loud argument or big grand gesture. it's just the subtle inability to say how you feel only being able to muster "I'm sorry" and the only response they can give is 'I know.'

@@blackice7050 Bro OMG I’ve been looking for people like you!!!! I’m the same way. Now at the time being 2016 I was 15 years old, I’m 21 now I’ve realized so much as an adult. I’ve always loved the series I grew up with it for God’s sake. But only because I was a fan did I love the 4th game at the time. Now from the outside looking in I’m still a fan but no longer of Uncharted 4. It’s just not as good as I thought it was. The ps3 series will forever be the best. Now personally idk if it’s because of Amy Hennig or childhood or what… but thank God I’m not the only one!!!
