Matchbox Action Drivers Pizza Hut International Release - Modern Black Store Design!

- In this video I unbox and assemble the Matchbox Action Driver's Pizza Hut international version playset. This is an alternate color/edition of the initial Pizza Hut set released in late 2021. This set was released for the international market ( for sale outside of the United States only ) and features a modern, black design that includes different interior stickers, a black roof and building structure, a black display sign, and modern Pizza Hut logos throughout. The set itself is the same overall/base design as the US/retro release, so it fits in with the rest of the Action Drivers sets with no issues.
These Action Drivers sets have been awesome to collect and they make a great backdrop for any diorama or giant diecast city. They also attach to Hot Wheels city track sets, so if you collect those too you can expand your 1/64th scale world even larger!

I just bought today in Canada the new one because the classic wasn’t in stock but I am hyped to unbox it :)

When it comes to relaunching to Pizza Hut's 1970s-1999 logo in 2017, not very many countries outside the United States have updated yet...they seemed to be stuck in the recent past of 2015...

The red one is my favorite of the two bc it’s the vintage design, but the black one fits in great with the other modern Action Drivers sets. I’m really hoping we get more licensed sets for 2023😎🏁
I’d actually prefer the classic version (red roof) to the modern one.

I found one at “Ollie’s” for $9.99. Had no idea Matchbox made “Pizzahut” for AD,glad I got one!

Hey, any advice for where get news on new playsets like this? I see there's now a FedEx Action Drivers set announced for 2023, but only because I stumbled upon it, is there a blog or something?
I heard rumblings of the FedEx set as well but nothing “official” announced about the line’s 2023 full releases as far as I know. I myself have been working on launching my own website where I’ll post deeper reviews and photos of these sets, along with news, but currently outlets like Lamley Group, T-Hunted, and some various others are all good places to see upcoming releases😎

Nice! What’s odd about the box on that one is that it shows sets from 2022 rather than 2023 on the box art, almost like we’re getting it holiday 2022. It’ll be interesting to see when it actually drops!
That’s the same guy who just posted one on eBay too…which I bought earlier today (I actually messed up and bought two of them lol)! I should have it early next week to film the unboxing of and hopefully get a better look at the new sets! I’ve tried using the eBay photo he posted to zoom in but the only new set that you can make out is the Harbor set bc it’s on the water’s edge.

Where do I get that? I Viset the website of Canada Toys “R” Us website is out of stock. I did a couple months ago.
So I got this set back in 2022, so I’m sure it’s been phased out of retail by now, so the most likely place to find it would probably be eBay? That would be my guess

The black roof version was an international/Canada only release and can be difficult to find. It seems like the old red roof version had much better distribution.

It’s an international release so you have to go outside the US to find it, usually on eBay or Amazon Canada. I found it on US eBay, so I’d suggest saving the search for the black version so you get a notification when one pops up for sale.

No that’s basically the regular price. They vary from $7.99-12.99 retail depending on when they are bought at, but are still highly sought after so anything less than $20 is a good deal!

That I can’t confirm yet - I was going by IG accounts that posted the black version and past eBay listings. It seems like they are heavy Canada but I can’t 100% tell if Europe got them or not from those listings.
