I used to get my shoes shined at the North Terminal at SeaTac Airport every time I flew out. The same guy was always there for many years. He was a little older but had so much shoe shine flare. One time I was on my way out of town for business and I was excited to get my shoes shined. As I approached his spot with the chairs there was no one there. The booth looked like it hadn't been used in a while. I asked an Airport employee what happened to him? He told me he retired after putting his kids through college. No one took his spot over and no one seemed to want it. I always tipped him a $20 and enjoyed the whole experience and my old shoes looking tip top. I was both happy and sad at the same time...

My dad has worked with leather all of his life. He would never say those would be back in shape with one cleaning and shining. Great job Angelo!!

Yeah it's my fave part too. This blokes channel is a godsend for my OCD. Love that he takes real pride in his work too. I'd love to get my boots shined by him in person one day.

The railroad spike gives me tingles
I always thought that shoe shines were just slapping on polish and buffing to a shine. However, this video makes me understand there is both art and science to this process to restore leather shoes. I am amazed.
That's what a normal shoe shine is. This kind is for weirdos to rub one out.

It's so nice to have you back on a weekly basis, Angelo! Those were some seriously distressed boots. I wasn't really sure whether they were black or brown. The color changed several times during the cleaning. You got them looking so much better as a result of your hard work. Nice job!

t this is a lovely silence whilst this guy is at work. Why can't it be like that when I get my haircut.. I just wanna feel relaxed in silence but instead have to chit chat and keep a conversation going about cliche stuff for like 45 minutes

I’ll say one thing; the guy in the old boots has got great balance. Imagine standing on those metal platforms for 20 or 30 minutes. Amazing.

I have this vintage topsider (timberland).
I only use kiwi (brown shine and protect) and micro fiber cloth to maintain it.
Idk that there was many more wax?? Needed for maintenance
