I was wondering about Ash and his shop. He is certainly the type of mechanic that someone could feel comfortable about leaving his vintage motorcycle with for overhaul.
I used to have my layout bench near the work vice and found i did 2 miles a day less exercise! I moved it back to where i had it after i found that out!

Do those 1940s WL transmissions have a drain plug anywhere? I cannot seem to spot one. Thanks.

The oil in my WLA gearbox has a cloudy grey colour to it. Do you have any idea what it is? Is it worth worrying about?
